There are no dedicated headphone monthly magazines in english in the US, so general-purpose audio magazines are the closest thing. During the Holiday weekend, Discountmags is offering a 1-year digital subscription of Stereophile for $5 per year. This can be read with the Zinio apps or a web browser. You can sign up for up to four years for $5/year. This is good for new Zinio subscriptions or renewals.

Friday is the new Tuesday, and among the new music this Friday we have a new EP by Nine Inch Nails. This 5-track album is not available digital-only at the official NIN store (you have to buy it with “physical components” to get the digital copies as well). However, 7 digital comes to the digital rescue, they are offering a 24-bit 48kHz FLAC for $6.45 (no further details are given). The iTunes and Amazon prices are $6 for the AAC and mp3 respectively, so that’s a good price for FLAC. It is not currently listed at HDtracks.
A new manufacturer discount launched today (12/23/16) until 1/22/17 that can get you the 1MORE Triple Driver In-Ears for $60 with free shipping at Costco if you are a member, or $63 if you are not a member (a 5% surcharge). Limit five per member.
As of the time of writing, the manufacturer discount has not (yet?) been factored in at Amazon.com. Amazon actual and the 1More official store are the only sellers of these over there, but they are both at $85. Amazon is too big for its own good sometimes, manufacturer discounts may not always get factored in immediately for smaller brands and less well-known products.
But still, getting the Costco deal is great visibility for 1More, since Costco (despite its Godzilla size) sells less than a dozen (!) different headphones.
These are not doing well review-wise, but their price has crashed to almost nothing since they came out, for $2.68 you can get the new condition 3M TEKK Protection Folding Earmuff by Amazon actual. I haven’t found an easy mnemonic to decode these, so we just have to remember that the extra “D” in the model name is for open-back.
