The shipping estimate this time around is late September 2018, a month later than the initial launch which was late August 2018. They come with a 1-year warranty.

You can make customizations in the shopping cart (nine options of shell and faceplate combinations). Optionally you can add an additional cable to your order (lightning or 2.5mm TRRS balanced) for +$50.

Ear impressions are not included in the price. You have to get your own and send them to Noble Audio in Santa Barbara (California). They expect to receive these within six weeks of the drop expiration, otherwise your order will be cancelled.

UPDATE: the shipping estimate is … *drum roll* … August 21st in 2018. That’s five months from now, so patience is a virtue 🙂

The offer has two options actually, custom (you get impressions from the audiologist and send them to CustomArt in Poland) but also universal but customizable physically (colors, designs). Massdrop Unlocked: Custom Art Ei.XX CIEMs for $640 [also AKG K812]

Fully unlocked at members-only Massdrop are the Custom Art Ei.XX CIEMs, another Massdrop exclusive product, offered for $600 plus $40 flat shipping, with about five days to go from blog-posting date. Note that this is limited to 50 units (36 purchased as of the time of writing), and the shipping estimate is November 1st (we are still in September!).

Massdrop Unlocked: Sony 10R for $98, UE CIEMs for $700

Two new offers launched and are already fully unlocked at Massdrop as of the time of writing (with seven days left in each). First up, the closed-back Sony MDR-10R headphones go for $98~ shipped, with choice of white or black at checkout. Next up, the Ultimate Ears Custom IEMs are going for $700 with free shipping. You have to send your audiologist impressions to UE’s Irvine (Southern California) labs. Shipping estimate per the listing is late September (2015), so not if you have deadlines or special occasions.
