Starts Mon 2:45pm ET: KZ ES4 In-Ear Lightning Deal

If you are a fan of the KZ earphones but don’t want to wait for them to arrive from China, the Amazon Gold Box features them occasionally on lightning deals. One such case happens today (Monday 7/29/19) at 2:45pm eastern time, it is the new condition KZ ES4 In-Ears. Their price before the sale is $19 for the linked-to option BUT I do not know which one(s) of the colors and mic/no-mic combinations will be participating in the lighting deal. The only way to know is to be there when they go live…

These also have small (single figure) discount co-promotions when you page-down to their “Special offers and product promotions” on the individual Amazon product pages of the KZs.

This offer appears to be sold by marketplace seller “Yinyoo Audio” with the orders getting fulfilled by Amazon ~ so free 2-day Prime shipping or the usual $29+ free shipping.

PS: as I am slowly getting up to speed with more regular postings, this is a good time to start thinking what type of deals and coverage you’d like to see more of on this blog! Think about and please feel free to leave a comment on any of the posts…

IF you don’t want your comments to be made public, simply write so in the comment (eg “don’t post this”). All comments are moderated, so nothing goes live unless it gets manually approved…

If you are fond of some wood in your earphones, the new condition Symphonized NRG Premium wood in-ears are on sale for $13 to $14 in three different color schemes with the orders fulfilled by Amazon and sold by the Symphonized Amazon store.

They average 4.1 out of 5 based on over 8300 customer reviews and have 450+ peer-answered questions. These are frequently featured in lightning deals, but this is longer-term sale, it doesn’t have a 6-hour ticking clock attached to it…

In other Symphonized action, their new condition GLXY Premium wood in-ears go for $12~ to $13~ per pair depending on the color scheme. These average 3.9 out of 5 based on 640 customer reviews and they have just 36 answered questions…

PS: I don’t have this particular model, but Symphonized has many similar options. We have here a text and pictures unboxing of their NRG 2.0 model…

Sennheiser Momentum BeFree SE Bluetooth Earphones for $150

If you are looking for necklace-style bluetooth earphones, the new condition Sennheiser Momentum BeFREE special edition model is on sale at the moment for $150 with free US shipping by Amazon actual. This is not a lightning deal, so the price is such until it changes at an unspecified time in the future.

This is a new release, it first got added to Amazon in June 2019. It averages 3.3 out of 5 based on 7 customer reviews…

Starts 12pm ET: KZ ES4 Earphone Lighting Deal

If you like chasing Gold Box lightning deals, per the schedule posted over there, starting at 12pm eastern today (Tuesday 7/23/19) they will have a lightning deal on the KZ ES4 earphones.

There are multiple colors and options (without or with mic/remote), and we don’t know ahead of time which one(s) will be on sale. The price before sale is $20 for the model pointed out to in the Gold Box, BUT sometimes it points to the “root option” of the listing, and not the one that would actually go on sale.

If you don’t want to dig into the color options, you can look for it at the Headphones lightning deals (currently five pages of them)…

In comparison, these go for round $15 at Gear Best, while the situation is a bit too chaotic to quickly figure it out at AliExpress

A number of other accessories are also included with the higher models…

Jaybird Freedom 2 bluetooth earphones for $45 to $50

Dell is running their own 4th of July sales, and among them they have two variations of the Jaybird Freedom bluetooth earphones, the Jaybird Freedom 2 with SpeedFit for $45, and the non-speed-fit going for $50 with free US shipping. This is a limited time sale. Coupon code not needed…

PS: in case you missed it, Logitech purchased Jaybird a few years ago, but they also purchased Blue Microphones last year, and many years ago they had purchased Ultimate Ears. And they may have purchased other audio-related companies while I wasn’t paying attention 🙂

EU: Sennheiser CX 300S Stumpy In-Ears for 40 to 41 euro

Sennheiser itself had a mini big bang of new consumer-tier headphones and among them is the return of the dreaded “S” (dreaded because in englishes a final “s” indicates plural ~ making conversations and searches more complicated than necessary). The stumpy CX 300 II barely-in-ears have now been replaced with the CX 300S, and at Amazon Germany the white color scheme is down to 40 euro and the red (“rot” in german) is down to 41 euro.

Their default prices are 50 euro at amazon.de, and $50 USD at amazon.com.

PS: “stumpy” is not (yet?) a headphone technical term ^_^

Freshebuds bluetooth earphones for $20

Especially of interest if you have Stacksocial store credits and/or coupons, they are currently offering the new condition Freshebuds bluetooth earphones (necklace style) for $20. Shipping is extra. You earn a $1 store credit for every $25 in purchases. All sales are final and they ship in mid-July 2019. They have over 270 customer ratings at Stacksocial but they don’t have written reviews like Amazon. You just see a “visual average” of their rating.

Stacksocial only carries a self-curated type of a headphone collection so it’s a bit of a “box of chocolates”…

Monoprice sale w/FUSS: M650 Open Over-Ears $120, Mega Tube Amp for $340, MP10 IEMs for $8, Etc

All the offers mentioned in this post below include free standard US shipping as of the time of writing of this post…

Monoprice is running another headphone-related sale with a variety of products, big and small. From small earphones to boulder-sized amplifiers 🙂

+ speaking of which, the Monolith Tube Headphone amplifier with ESS Sabre DAC is going for $340

+ Monolith M650 open-back over-ears for $120
+ the M600 and M650 are not planar-magnetic; you are correct, the model names are an “homage” to certain “Heiser” headphones ^_^

+ metal headphone stand for $18

+ MP-10 in-ears for $8
+ yes, despite the low price, you still get free standard US shipping while this promotion is running ~ after all IEMs can ship easily and don’t take up lots of space and can probably be shipped easily even with USPS first class mail [only guessing here, I have no clue how they will ship these]

+ Retro over-ears for $22.49
+ you are correct if it reminds you of a certain Superlux/Samson headphone 🙂

+ Monoprice 8323 with bluetooth for $23
+ the good old model now with bluetooth (and apt-X). I haven’t seen this new model but I had the 8323 and larger heads were not an easy fit. It also expands a bit strangely on your head, so if you are image-conscious note that when you are using it at coffee shops and libraries and such

PS: “FUSS” = Free US shipping and handling…

Tin Hifi P1 In-Ears for $149 w/FUSS [MD]

Over 450 units have been sold from this listing per the page over there. There’s no mention of warranty in the listing. They will ship in early July 2019 from Massdrop, which is now just …Drop. They dropped the mass 🙂 I still prefer Massdrop 🙂

BUT if you don’t want to wait for that long and want the warranty too, the ER3XR goes for $146 and 1/2, and the ER3SE for $149 at amazon.com, and these prices are by Amazon actual, not marketplace sellers.

Speaking of this line of deep-insertion in-ears, the ER4S is currently on sale for $190 by Amazon actual

EU: Sennheiser M2IEG Momentum In-Ears for 64 euro

A marketplace seller’s price looks like it has triggered a computer-generated price-match by Amazon Germany itself, and for the time, you can get the new condition Sennheiser M2IEG Momentum In Ears for around 64 euro with up to three pairs per color per customer at the same price. I’m not sure if the limit of three is total for all colors/options or per individual option. There are three colors.

NOTE: pay attention to the actual seller ~ some of them are Amazon Germany actual, others are marketplace sellers…

Monoprice Retro Semi-Open Over-Ears for $22.49 w/FS

Samson and Superlux are not the only ones selling these headphones. They go by some other brands, and from the looks of it, Monoprice too is on the game, and they are now on selling, their Modern Retro closed-back semi-open over-ears are going for the very specific price of $22.49 with free standard US shipping. Limit up to twenty per customer at the sale price.

EU: AmazonBasics In-Ears for 4.16 euro [updated]

UPDATE: the blue color scheme sale ended but the black color scheme continues to be on sale for 4.16 euro, you can buy as many as you want but it is an Add-On item, so you must place a 20+ euro order of eligible (shipped or fulfilled by Amazon Germany) products ~ otherwise their shopping cart won’t let you buy it…

On the budget side of things in Europe, Amazon Germany is currently offering the new condition AmazonBasics In-Ears for 3.45 euro in the blue color scheme and just over 4 euro in the black color scheme. These are without mic/remote. Because of the low price, they are an add-on item, so you must needs place an order of 25+ euro otherwise their shopping cart won’t let you buy them. You can buy as many as you like.

This is not a lightning deal, so there is no set expiration time. The price can change dynamically at any time as the Amazon Price Bots see fit 🙂

PS: I had one of these, I’ll have to check my pictures archives to see if I took any pictures for unboxing and wrote any impressions and such. One of these days I will get organized and start producing more content again 🙂 Please leave requests for things you want to see done ~ especially unusual or off-beat things that are not done by everybody else 🙂
