There are many companies already knee-deep in headphones, so specialization is not a bad idea. Case in point, kids headphones. The AmazonBasics house brand Kids headphones are currently on sale for $15 per pair, available in three different color schemes, with a limit of five per color per customer at Amazon.com. This is not part of the lightning deals, so I do not know when it expires.
Monoprice Over-Ear Headphones for $10 w/free S&H
And now on the budget end of the spectrum, online discounter Tanga.com is offering the new condition Monoprice Over-the-Ear Headphones for $10 with free shipping, in either black or white, with a limit of ten per customer. No additional coupons or discounts can be applied to these ones as they are already heavily discounted. The warranty under the “Details” tab says 30 days. They come with a bag and three cables. Yes, they have detachable cables and they fold flat.
These are not the world famous 8323. The Tanga listing does not mention which model they are, but they look familiar. You can probably figure it out by comparing the measureables (cable lengths for example) with the Monoprice inventory.
So for $10 delivered, you get one pair of headphones, a basic headphone pouch, and three audio cables. Not bad 🙂
Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Over-Ears for $250
The second generation (2.0) over-ear closed-back Momentums are on sale again. As you navigate between the different colors and OS options, be sure to check who the featured seller is, as it may be different between options. For some strange reason, all these headphones along with the older RH1 and RH3 are grouped together in one product page. The negative of this is that their reviews are all pooled together which makes the average useless because they different kinds of headphones. You can pre-filter the reviews by going some browsing gymnastics, but the pre-filtered results don’t show a star rating average 🙁
New JLab JBuds earphones for $5.50 to $6.50 (many colors)
On the budget side of things, especially if you are a Prime member (or planning a $35+ order), you can get various color options of the entry-level JLab JBuds2 earphones for $5.50 per pair, with a limit of 30 per color per customer. These are fairly new, they have no customer reviews as of the time of writing.

The Audio Technica M50x offers continue to roll along the interwebs. A new net-low for the headphones, you can get them in new condition for $120 by Buydig on eBay and 2-4 weeks later you will also receive a $30 prepaid VISA gift card. Given that most people can easily spend a $30 VISA gift card on regular purchases, it becomes a virtual net $90 on the headphones.
Alternately you can get the headphones and the $30 gift card (but shipping in 4-6 weeks) with the Fiio E6 added for $135. So you would be adding the E6 for just +$15. You can’t find it less than $20 in new condition from authorized dealers.
