This is the black color scheme: Breaking news alert for bassheads. The Beyerdynamic DTX350m closed-back on-ear headphones (the “m” is important in the name, not to be confused with the “p” we mentioned yesterday) go for $52 in new condition but they are available in “Used – Good” condition for $39 and “Used – Very Good” condition for $41.60 by Amazon Warehouse Deals. The “breaking news” part is that it just got the Wall of Fame blessings of Innerfidelity ~ with video evidence.
NOTE however that 2 out of the 8 customer reviews at amazon.com say that these physically broke, one of the two reviews has pictures of the breaking point, adding another dimension to the “breaking news” 🙂

For example, the Custom Street were going for $150 yesterday, but now looking at the price at the product page you’d think that $111.38 is their normal price. I’ll monitor the situation to see if there’s a method to the madness or computers-gone-wild. ORIGINAL: While I continue to update the Warehouse Deals mega-post, I also run into new condition discounts as I go through various headphones. If you are a Star Wars fans both the first generation and the second generation of the officially licensed closed-back on-ears by SMS Audio have now dropped to $40, in new condition, and Prime eligible. Everyone can buy them, they are not a Prime-only promotion. Keep in mind these are based on 50 Cent’s on-ears, they have a very closed sound with the usual bass emphasis. So probably not the best way to enjoy John Williams 🙂 They come with a variety of Star Wars related extras, so perhaps they are more of a Star Wars accessory than a headphone 🙂

Amazon’s used price is $387 after coupon, but it is handily “defeated” by the Secondipity manufacturer-refurbished option for $320 with free shipping.
