HIFIMAN HE4XX planar magnetics for $170 [MD]
The HIFIMAN HE4XX planar magnetics were an “in-stock drop” (I need to update the Massdrop Tracker page), but they are not an in-stock drop anymore!
As of the time of writing, they are a conventional Massdrop drop, running for the next 15 days and change (from blog-posting date) for the same old price of $170 with free US shipping. They are back on at members-only Massdrop, this time with a late April 2018 shipping estimate! It is the new condition FOCAL ELEX Open Over-Ears going for their new low price of $700 with free shipping (they had started at $800).
This particular drop is running for the next 15 days (from blog-posting date). The listing says 250 units are available however, Massdrop did not reset the counter up top, so we have no way of knowing how many are left from this particular drop. All sales are final as usual, but since it is a product build in co-operation with FOCAL, you do get a two year warranty like other FOCAL headphones.
Used Sennheiser PX 200-II On-Ears for $42.50 + S&H ($3.75 or more)
Sennheiser, like Audio Technica and AKG, mayhaps make more headphone models than most of their employees can recite without preparing the night before 😉 If of all the Sennheiser headphones it is the PX 200-II on-ears in the black color schemes the ones you want, there are currently two listings of them available at Adorama.com in “Used – Excellent” condition for $42.50 plus shipping. Shipping starts at $3.75 for my “test zipcodes” but I obviously can’t test every zipcode out there.

Note that these are without mic/remote as they lack that little “i” that Sennheiser loves to use to indicate that (at least of the i-Device kind since some Androids get a “G” for Galaxy).
Used Sony MDR-7502 for $18 plus S&H ($3.75 or more)
More used action, also at Adorama, you can get the Sony MDR-7502 Closed On-Ears for $18 plus shipping. The lowest appears to be $3.75 regardless of zipcode (at least among my “test zipcodes”). The headphone weight is 5.1 ounces, so lightweight and not taking up too much space can keep S&H fees down.
If the used inventory sells out, you will no longer see it at the above search results. Their individual product links have a lot of empty spaces (four in a row) which can confuse some browsers (and definitely confuses my html editing), that’s why I am linking to the search results instead.
