Bose Soundsport In-Ears for $40 w/free S&H
The new condition Bose Soundsport In-Ears/Earbuds hybrid is on sale for $40 with free shipping through the Best Buy website as one of their early Black Friday deals. These use earhooks to stay on your ears while a speaker protrusion goes inside your ear but does not create a seal. I don’t know if there’s a formal name for this, basically they prioritize for comfort for people who don’t like in-ears.
Speaking of the Best Buy early sale, they offer the new condition Roku 3 for $50 with free shipping. Roku has many models now, so be sure to compare if you are not intimately familiar. Of audio interest, most of the recent models don’t have a dedicated audio output, but they come with a remote control with a headphone out. Note however that the headphone port may be a close call with some 3.5mm plugs, here’s a picture of it with the VE Monks (from VE Monks review diary). Note also that some may require an active HDMI connection to pipe out audio, so if you need them to play music without having a TV on, check the A/V forums and reviews.
Coming Up: Black Friday Ads digest
In the next couple of days I will begin diving into the published and leaked Black Friday ads looking for headphone-related offers. I will create a new perma-post that will keep getting updated as I discover more. Off the top of my head, there are going to be free after Plenti Rewards Philips earbuds at Rite Aid stores. These should be an easy and comfortable get, since most of the Black Friday brick and mortar crazy traffic is near malls and big superstores like Best Buy and Costco and Tarjay and such.

I don’t know if the price adjusts automatically based on the two components or it is set separately. At the moment it’s the same.

Sennheiser HD 6xx SOLD OUT quickly at MD
Unfortunately I did not wake up early enough to witness the excitement when it went live at 9am Eastern (6am Pacific). Judging by the comments on the product page and the 4800+ comments on the page there, this was chaotic with their servers getting overwhelmed by the demand, and there were errors and issues. So if you weren’t there and then live, you may have saved yourself from a lot of frustration. It’s 11:13am ET, and it’s already sold-out. Judging by the comments, a lot of people were (re)introduced to the early 2000s internet shopping experience 🙂

Speaking of which, the Fire S Audio Headphone Stand is fully unlocked at $35 plus $8~ flat shipping. This runs for the next six days and will ship pre-assembled in mid-to-late November 2016. The pre-assembled part perhaps explains the higher shipping fee, since it takes up more space and needs more packaging protection.

Beyerdynamic DT990 PREMIUM 250 for $169 [limit 5]
This looks like another price match of sorts, because a trio of sellers at Amazon.com, including Amazon actual, Beach and Focus Cameras are offering the new condition Beyerdynamic DT990 PREMIUM 250 ohm for $169 with free shipping. Amazon’s own limit is five per customer. If anyone needs more, you can get additional units from the other sellers. A new month is here, but the 15% off automatic in-cart discount continues at Amazon Warehouse Deals, featuring over 21,000 items, including 270+ headphones. If you are not familiar with the mechanics of this, check our earlier mini explainer post.

PRICES UPDATED 11/5/16 late PM: they ran out of “Used – Good”, and the “Used – Very Good” price upticked, that’s why now the lowest eligible price is $37~ after in-cart discount to $31.54 in “Used – Good” condition by and $34.67 in “Used – Very Good” condition.

The screenshot below shows the older prices, but you can still use it to locate the in-cart discount confirmations. I put it after the jump so it doesn’t create confusion…
