Amazon continues to experiment with product bundling. If you want to get the Sennheiser HD 600 at a reasonable price, in new condition, from authorized dealer, without having to hunt high and low, Amazon has a bundle for that: you pay $400 and you receive the HD 600 headphones along with a $150 Amazon Gift Card (plastic card delivered by mail, so you can regift it if you don’t need it for yourself). With Amazon gift cards selling at face value, you are essentially paying $250 for the HD600s. Not bad if you like a hassle-free experience.

Monoprice 8323 Over-Ears for $16 w/free shipping
It’s hard to go wrong with this headphone at this price, it is the internet-legendary closed-back over-ear detachable-cable Monoprice 8323 headphone on sale for $16 with free shipping (no minimum purchase required) from the Monoprice website. You can buy as many as you like (within inventory limits of course, if a billionaire decides to buy 10 million of them, they probably don’t have enough available). The sale is good until 2/29/16 unless they sell out.
This is a great buy under $30 shipped, so when you can get it at half that price, this is definitely even better. It did get some hype, the recommendation echo chamber effect, but again, there’s only so much a reasonable person can expect for a $16 shipped pair of headphones. Despite the size, this is not as expansive for big big heads (some on-ears are more roomy), and when you wear it in public, you kinda look like one of those 50s low-budget sci-fi robotic creatures. But again, you are paying $16 not $160 for fashionable Beats 🙂
