Tuesday: Mpow M12 truly-wireless for $10

Truly-wireless no longer break the bank if you want to get one of them Amazon-popular type of brands instead of the name-brand audio and consumer electronics companies.

Case in point, one of the NewEGG daily deals for Tuesday 9/27/22 is the new condition Mpow M12 truly-wireless for $10, sold by the MPOW official store at NewEGG, and shipped by NewEGG itself. No promo code needed.

These charge via USB-C (a must nowadays if you are part of the USB-C charging ecosystem; I still have micro-USB devices in circulation but still, USB-C is the future for now), promise up to 25 hours of playback with the charging case, bluetooth 5.0 (a must if you want to limit bluetooth connectivity hassles), IPX8 and such. Of utilitarian interest, you can use one earpiece at a time if you want, it effectively doubles playback time! As I previously mentioned, I do this with the Tribit and charge them once a month (!!!) even though I use them daily for YouTube video/live-stream viewing…

Speaking of daily deals, Amazon is offering this Echo Studio with Echo Sub bundle for the very specific price of $247.49. This is currently restricted to Prime members. But if you must have it, you can start a 30-day FREE Prime trial and get it.

EU: MPOW H7 Bluetooth Closed Over-Ears for 20 euro

The various market fluctuations (tariffs, trade wars, currency fluctuations) are causing some Chi-Fi products to be available at a lower price in the EU than in the USA. Historically this had been the opposite. Such as the case for this budget bluetooth headphone, it is the new condition MPOW H7 closed over-ears with “powerful bass” and “CVC 6.0 NC microphone” and up to “18 hours battery life” going for just 20 euro with free shipping for Germany Prime members or with a 29+ order in Germany and/or nearby eligible regions.

Mpow Bluetooth Receiver drops to $12

If you need to bluetoothize (verb) your headphones or anything else that can play music from a 3.5mm input, the well-reviewed (4.3 out of 5 with 2660+ reviews and 300+ questions answered) Mpow Bluetooth Receiver is now down to $12 in new condition at amazon.com. Manufacturers rarely describe this clearly, but you can read the reviews and Q&A for more details.

Receiver is the key word here, it “receives” music from a bluetooth source (eg smartphone or tablet). The opposite is a Transmitter, which “transmits” music (eg from a 3.5mm playback source) to a bluetooth receiver (eg this device or bluetooth headphones or bluetooth-enabled speakers).

Using both a bluetooth receiver and a transmitter, you can take any two analog devices, eg your tape cassette player and your wired headphones and turn them into a bluetooth set. However, keep in mind that there is audio degradation with bluetooth, and more so when you combine them, so this may be best for audiobooks or spoken word or non-musical audio or background music while doing household chores that wouldn’t let you critically enjoy music anyway.

Start Wedn 10pm ET: Mpow Streambot Bluetooth Audio Receiver Sale

Wednesday has something of potential interest in the schedule of the Gold Box at Amazon. It will start late on Wednesday, at 10pm Eastern (7pm pacific). It will be the Mpow Streambot Box with Bluetooth 4.0 and apt-X and NFC support. It gives you a Bluetooth receiver which you can use any which way you like. The most common use of these is to let existing non-Bluetooth speakers or headphones receive audio over bluetooth. The price before the sale is $25. It averages 4.3 out of 5 based on 90+ customer reviews, and if you are curious about it, it has 30 questions peer-answered over there.

Basically, one way to use it is this: plug this into your existing RCA-input or 3.5mm input speakers. Pair this (“this” being the Mpow Bluetooth critter in this deal) with your smartphone or tablet, play music on your phone/tablet, and hear it through your speakers. If you are planning to pair it with multiple devices, NFC is really handy because you don’t have to worry about various devices “fighting” over the bluetooth connection.
