Good until Tuesday at 11:59pm eastern, New York’s B&H Photo is offering the new condition M-Audio Micro USB DAC for $24 with free shipping. It has a USB Type A musical input and outputs music via 3.5mm or via digital coaxial. It is USB powered and it has a high impedance switch as well.

The M-Audio M50 Over-Ears (they look more on-ears to me looking at the pictures, but I can’t tell for certain since I haven’t seen them in person) go for around $80 in new condition, but if you want to save more than half off, you can get them in “Used – Good” condition (various cosmetic imperfections, damaged original packaging) for $32~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals actual, or $36~ in “Used – Like New” condition (damaged original packaging).
PS: when shopping at Amazon Warehouse Deals, make sure you check who the actual seller is. There are many iffy or “Just Launched” or “email me before you buy” or low-rated marketplace sellers over there. A safe bet is to buy from Amazon Warehouse Deals actual (Amazon’s own persona), and recognizable marketplace sellers (nationally known retailers or recognizable authorized local A/V retailers with Amazon stores).

The closed-back over-ear M-Audio HDH-50 headphones are currently offered for $95 at upstart online website Jet.com. When you add the product to the shopping cart and continue through with the checkout process, you will discover that the seller is “NYC Electronics”. I am not familiar with this seller, so I don’t know what’s their reputation.
Jet does not tell you who the seller is before you add something to the shopping cart. Here’s how it looks after you add it to the cart and proceed through with the Checkout process (you don’t have to place an actual order to see it):
The M-Audio Micro DAC, which is a USB DAC, is on sale for $53 with free shipping, with a limit of three per customer at Amazon by Amazon actual. It takes USB Audio and has two 1/8″ physical outputs, digital and headphone-out. Its list price was $99 from what I recall, but somehow the Amazon listing switched it to $53~.
PS: the Micro refers to its size, not Micro-USB input. It has standard USB input.
The M-Audio HDH-50 studio headphones (closed over-ears) go for $200 in new condition, but up and coming retailer Jet.com has them on sale for $95, perhaps as a blockbuster promotion. Not only that, but they also have a built-in volume discount, the more units you buy, the lower the per unit price you pay.
One word of caution is that Jet does not tell you upfront who the actual seller/shipper of an item is. It may be Jet themselves, or any other seller that is doing business on the Jet website. They are trying to keep it simple, but this is an important piece of information that they should be upfront about it.
Regardless if you are not a fan of Jet, you can get them in “Used – Like New” condition by Wisconsin’s Pixel PRO Audio store for $110 with free shipping through Amazon Warehouse Deals. They ship from Pixel, so no Prime fast shipping.
If you happen to need all three of these (sounds like an NBA play by play line?), then this is a good deal, $500 gets you these three new condition items: the open-back Sennheiser HD 650 headphones, the M-Audio AV32 10W Studio Monitor speakers, and the Blue Microphones Yeti USB Microphone at Amazon by Amazon actual.
The speakers currently go for $100 and the Yeti for $130 (Sting is still looking for him), making the HD650 a very reasonable $270. Now if you don’t need (or can sell/trade/gift) the two extras, then it becomes a more complicated decision.
This is not the only bundle offer, there are more Sennheiser + Gifts/Bundles offers running at Amazon.
We now have a new condition pair of headphones in a close-out promotion, it is the M-Audio HDH-50 studio headphones offered for $95 with free shipping by AudioSavings on eBay (99.2%).
If you happen to need all three of these (or can sell/trade/gift the ones you don’t need), Amazon is back with another Sennheiser HD 650 bundle. For $500, in new condition, you get the HD 650 headphones, the M-Audio AV32 Professional Studio Monitor Speakers (3″ Woofer; $100 on their own) and the Blue Microphones Yeti USB Microphone (whiteout color scheme; $120 on its own). So within this bundle, assuming you place that value on those two items, the HD 650 is valued at $280.
The Gift Card Bundle is back as well, but it only comes with a $100 Gift Card this time for a total price of $500. Not a good deal.
PS: this search link shows some of the other Sennheiser Amazon Gift Card bundles currently available.
The new condition M-Audio MicroDAC (that’s its name) which is a portable USB DAC, is currently on sale for $59~ with free shipping, with a limit of three per customer at Amazon by Amazon actual. It averages 4.6 out of 5 based on 11 customer reviews. It has USB audio input and two 3.5mm outputs, headphone-out and digital-optical out. There is a Low/High physical switch and a blue light bulb.
Rechecking on 1/14/16 shows that the price has jumped all the way back up to around $100…
This offer was superseded…
In the second of three crazy Sennheiser HD 650 bundles, Amazon bundles it with two different products, the M-Audio AV32 Studio Monitors (speakers pair) along with the Blue Microphones Yeti USB Microphone. All these are offered from Amazon actual. No coupon or rebate is needed. They are the only ones offering this bundle, so you don’t have to worry about marketplace sellers. Although in all likelihood, they’ll ship the three items as if you purchased them regularly. I doubt this is a “factory bundle”.
We have yet another Audio Technica promotion, coupon code SAVEM50X gets you the Audio Technica M50x headphones along with the portable M-Audio Bass Traveler headphone amp for $130 with free shipping, in either the black or the white M50x at Amazon by Amazon actual. The coupon expires at the end of day on Sunday 11/22/15.

Amazon’s own shopping cart has procured “bundle technology”. With this bundle centered on the Sennheiser HD600, you pay $400 and receive the HD600 headphones in new condition, along with a pair of M-Audio AV32 Professional Studio Monitor Speakers, and the Blue Microphones Yeti USB Microphone. The speakers go for $100 on their own, while the Yeti (Sting not included!) goes for $120. No coupons and no rebates, just add to the shopping cart, and all will be added with the price adjusted.
The M-Audio portable Bass Traveler amp/DAC little thing (think Fiio E6 competitor) is currently available in “Used – Good” condition for $21~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals. The new condition price is $29. Its defining characteristic is that it has two headphone-outputs instead of one.
If you are looking for a Fiio E6 type of size portable headphone amp, but two outputs (can connect two headphones) are a must have feature, the M-Audio Bass Traveler Portable is now going for $29 at Amazon.com by Amazon actual. It averages 4.6 out of 5 based on five customer reviews. Has a “Boost” option (Flat, M, H), charges via micro-USB and officially supports 16-100 ohm headphones.
As of a 9/23/15 re-checking of stock, this is sold out as used…
If you are curious about the new M-Audio Super DAC but don’t want to pay full price, you can get it in “Used – Good condition” for $109~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals. There’s only one used listing (this one) so far.
These introductory lightning-deals ended. From what I recall, they were $20 off discounts. In addition to the M-Audio Super DAC and the M-Audio Micro DAC, there was also a smaller one, the Bass Traveler, that is kinda a Fiio E6 competitor but with dual 1/8″ outputs and the word “Bass” repeated 403 times in the product name (exaggeration)…
The closed-back M-Audio Studiophile Q40 are available in new condition for $80 with free shipping (fulfilled by Amazon) by marketplace sellers (not Amazon actual) at Amazon.com. As usual when purchasing from marketplace sellers over there, be sure to research them and decide whether to buy or not based on your comfort level. Different shoppers have different risk tolerance levels, so it is up to you to decide. The headphones average 3.9 out of 5 based on 41 customer reviews.
