I didn’t know AKG too had Kleer technology headphones. Many of the six customer reviews there complain of bad construction and breakage, so keep that in mind, especially if you are planning to use them in adventurous situations or have a bigger head (the full extension puts more pressure on a fragile headphone). I’ve had a different model of their on-ears and it just broke off at the extension area without any rough handling. Because of my not so tiny head, I had to wear it fully extended. So if you hate returns/exchanges, this is a higher risk item.

AKG Y55 Closed DJ On-Ears for $50 w/free S&H
A previous incarnation of these (K61X on-ear series) had build quality issues, but judging by the 20+ customer reviews at Amazon, it looks like they may have fixed them with this version, and they now have a detachable cable instead. They are on the compact side of things (so big head beware) and on the tastefully-bassy side of things (if they carry over the sound signature from the K61X on-ear series).
“It” refers to the red color scheme of the AKG Y55 DJ-branded closed-back over-ears, on sale for $50 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon actual.
PS: these should not be confused with the AKG K-series closed-back over-ears in the K5XX series.

Used AKG K182 Closed Over-Ears for $57
I don’t know how many people at AKG can itemize all their headphones, but if you happen to be interested in their closed-back over-ear K182, this model is available “Used – Like New” condition (original packaging) for $57~ with free shipping by Amazon Warehouse Deals actual. This is the best condition for a used item, “Like New”, in original packaging, and it doesn’t mention any issues. Of course there’s always some randomness in used listings, but statistically this is the best used condition description (assuming it’s accurate) you can find.

Surprise! Musician’s Friend is currently offering the new condition closed-back over-ear AKG K553 headphones for $99 with free shipping.
