Sennheiser RS 160 Wireless (KLEER) for $100 w/FS [limit 5]

UPDATE: it has now been price-matched by Amazon actual (limit up to three per customer)…

A bit of a doorbuster! Authorized Sennheiser dealer B&H Photo has launched a limited time offer on the new condition Sennheiser RS 160 digital wireless for $100 with free expedited shipping with up to five pairs per customer at the sale price!

These are previous generation model, and use KLEER technology, which Sennheiser is not using for their latest generation RS*5 models. So if you are a fan of KLEER. From what I recall, the RS 160 is the lowest priced model in their previous RS-lineup to have KLEER. The ones below (eg RS 120) did not have KLEER.

This is a system, you have a transmitter/base and a headset. They work together. They are not intended to be used separately. You can pair additional headsets to one transmitter/base, so more than one person can listen to the same music/video.

Refurbished AKG K840 KL (Kleer) Wireless On-Ears for $120

If you are a fan of the KLEER digital wireless technology (as opposed to RF or IR found in lower cost products), also part of the weekly Harman website deals is the recertified AKG K840 KL On-Ears going for $120 with free 2nd-day air and a 1-year warranty. Limit up to five per customer.

I didn’t know AKG too had Kleer technology headphones. Sennheiser used them in their RS160 and above previous-generation wireless but they switched apparently to their own technology with the newer RS**5 models. This being an on-ear is a more mobile setup, with the transmitter looking more like a smartphone power-bank than a 50s scifi ground control device 🙂

This is a previous generation model. The latest RS-series models end in a 5 and no longer use Kleer technology.

Sennheiser HDR 160 Headphones for $49 [limit 3]

Please note this headphone cannot work stand-alone! It is part of the RS 160 wireless system. You need to have a transmitter/base for them too play music. The reason they are sold individually is because you can pair more than one headphone to a transmitter/base, so multiple people can listen to them, or you can continue listening when one pair runs out of battery.

With that out of the way, the new condition Sennheiser HDR 160 Headphones are on sale for $49 with free shipping and a limit of up to three pairs per customer at Amazon by Amazon actual. These average 4 out of 5 based on 100+ customer reviews and they have almost 40 questions answered.
