The eBAY Black Friday ad has been revealed and there is only one headphone there, it is the Bose QuietComfort 3 ANC over-ears offered for $140. The eBAY ad does not specify the sellers of the offers, or the condition of the product, so we won’t know until it goes live. Bose has an official outlet store there, but this headphone is not in their store right now.

Fry’s revealed their chaotic Black Friday Ad and I went through them and integrated them into our BF Ads Summary post. Most of their offers require “Promo Codes”. You get those in emails by signing up to their emailing list. They have their own way of doing things 🙂
The big doorbuster headphone-wise is the Sennheiser RS 135 RF set that will go for $49 AFTER you use your promo code from the email of that day. The offer will run on Black Friday only, and you can buy only one, either online or at their B&M store.
The teaser (seen above) in the Ad page does not mention the model name, but when you click on the link or search for the product number 8772561, it takes to the page of the Sennheiser RS 135.
The NewEGG Black Friday sale is up and running with over 3K products participating. Among them is the new condition JBL Everest 710 Bluetooth Over-Ears in the gunmetal color scheme offered for $125 with free shipping. This is sold by Electronics EXPO through the NewEGG website. Bose got an early start to their Black Friday 2017 deals, and here comes another one, the new condition SoundTrue Around Ear II (closed-back over-ears, wired, no ANC) are on sale for $99 with free shipping in the black color scheme with the iOS 3-button remote/mic at Amazon by Amazon actual with up to three pairs per customer at the sale price.
Deciding on a Sennheiser HD 6??-series headphone is more complicated these days. You have the old guard of the HD 600 and HD 650, the Massdropping HD 6XX, and the price-dropping HD 700. But that’s not all. Sennheiser is releasing the brand new HD 660 S as well, with a starting price of $500, and this new headphone is now slowly starting to roll out.
If you are a fan of shopping at Amazon, you can now purchase it for $500 at Amazon by Amazon actual. The stock situation is “Temporarily out of stock”, so the shipping estimate is nebulous at the moment, so if you are buying it as a holiday gift for someone, keep that in mind.
The new condition Sony WH-1000X M2 BT/ANC over-ears go for $350 at the moment and I do not know if Sony is planning to discount them. But Secondipity has discounted the manufacturer refurbished version from $300 to $250 with free shipping, with warranty and a 30-day return policy. Limit up to five per customer.
This is in a similar price as the new condition of the previous generation, the MDR-1000X goes for $228 at Amazon by Amazon actual.

The sale is back on! Audio Technica’s entry in the stylish closed-back over-ears, the wired ATH-MSR7 are on sale, in both colors (black or gunmetal-grey/brown) for $149 with free shipping by various at Amazon and Dell Home (handy if you have promotional Dell e-certificate to spend since they only last 90 days).
The sale also dropped the price of the ANC model, the ATH-MSR7NC to $199 by various at Amazon and aSavings on eBay and BuyDig on eBay. The ANC model is only available in one color scheme.
Sennheiser’s timing was a bit off. The HD 202 / HD 201 got discontinued before they could reap the benefits of a very favorable Innerfidelity review, which is part of the reason why you see them have crazy prices now 🙂
There was one old school replacement model in the HD 20X series though, and it is currently on sale, it is the closed-back over-ear HD 206 going for $29 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon actual with up to three per customer at the sale price. They average 3.7 out of 5 based on 26 customer reviews. I do not know how these sound compared to the HD 202 / HD 201.
If you happen to want both the new condition Sennheiser HD 650 open-back over-ear headphones AND the Apogee Groove USB DAC/amp, you can get them for $500 with free shipping at the official Sennheiser Store.

Various marketplace sellers also offer them for the same price in case you need more.

The main reason why they are on the discounting path is because they are no longer the “latest model”. That title belongs to the $350 Sony WH-1000X M2. Sony rebooting the naming scheme partly because they expanded the “1000X” line-up with earphones as well.
This was going for $85 the last time we posted about it three weeks ago, but as of the time of writing, the new condition Hifiman HE-350 dynamic over-ear headphones are available at Blinq.com for $77 with free shipping.
Per the listing over there, there is only one unit available…
Blinq is a clearing house type of a seller, they get overstocks, returns and such, and resell them, so there is a higher risk than buying brand new at the major retailers. With risk come rewards, namely lower prices. They also offer a 30-ady return policy.
This was going for $129 two weeks ago, but as of this recheck, the new condition Audio Technica ATH-ANC9 closed-back over-ear noise-cancelling headphones are going for $113 with free shipping AND they get a $25 BuyDig gift certificate at BuyDig.com until 12/1/17 or earlier if sold out.

The Hifiman HE-400i planar-magnetic headphones were released prior to the HE-400S. But they both settled in an overlapping price range the last few weeks. Now the HE-400I has gone further down, going for $219 by Hifiman on eBay (you can buy as many as you want) and by various at Amazon including Electronics Expo and the Hifiman store, both of these fulfilled by Amazon.
On the used front, the Hifi Heaven eBay store has them as a USED customer return “Like New” for $180, while at Amazon Warehouse Deals there are various “Used – Very Good” listings by AWD for $175~.
The Hifiman eBay store is getting an early start on the Black Friday festivities, they have also discounted their open/closed Hifiman Edition S headphones from $149 to $129 in the black color scheme.
If you prefer to shop at Amazon, or if you want either color scheme, fear not, there are multiple Amazon listings on them for $129 and Prime eligible offered by the Hifiman Amazon store at these prices.
These are dynamic on-ear headphones. Their claim to fame is the “open/close” option which is fairly rare.
PS: the white color scheme’s name includes “lightning” in it. It’s part of the name. It does NOT have a lightning cable connector for Apple devices. To paraphrase REM, it’s part of the “Adventures in Chi-Fi” 🙂

A few months ago Sennheiser renamed their Momentum line to “HD1” in the US market, allegedly because of naming rights and such.
