Please note this headphone cannot work stand-alone! It is part of the RS 160 wireless system. You need to have a transmitter/base for them too play music. This is an ANC headphone without bluetooth. The ANC circuit is powered by a single AAA battery, a plus if you are a fan of those versus built-in rechargeables. If you are going to go the way of AAA, investing into rechargeable is a good way to save you money and unnecessary emergency trips to stores to stock up on disposable AAA batteries.
