As of a 2/5/15 re-checking of this listing, the prices went up… The new condition price of Sony’s latest flagship, the MDR-Z7, is $700 but if you want to save some, you can get it for $510 in “Used -Very Good” or $520 in “Used – Like New” at Amazon Warehouse Deals. There are multiple listings of this over there, which may put price pressure on the available used quantities, and cause prices to drop in the next few days. The new closed-back on-ear Sony ZX-110 headphones, in the black color scheme, are currently on sale for $10 at Amazon.com by Amazon actual with a limit of three per customer. Originally the price was $15 with a limit of five… The ZX-110 are the successor to the bang for the buck ZX-100 on-ears.

According to their Weekly Ad, Staples brick and mortar stores are going to be offering the new Sony MDR-ZX310 on-ear headphones for $25 during the December 14-20 (2014) shopping week. They are available in black or red. I don’t know if their website will also have them on sale. You may also be able to use any Staples coupons available at the time (you can check at any time at staples.com/coupons). The new ZX310 add a mic/remote, versus the good old ZX300/ZX100 that were straight-up headphones.
