Another new headphone is now steadily in-stock and ready to ship, it is another Sennheiser PXC series model, the 550, with Bluetooth 4.2 and Active Noise Cancelling (they call it NoiseGard) with a new condition price of $400 and a used price of $320. These prices are for the early adopters.
Sennheiser HD800 S for $1604
The weight of the tears from the removal of the Sennheiser HD800 S from the Innerfidelity Wall of Fame perhaps weighed down its price, now down to $1604 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon actual.
PS: the tears part is purely dramatization, the discount looks like a computer-generated price-match of a couple of marketplace sellers offering it for the same price.
[DEAD] Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 On-Ears for $80 (iOS or Android)
As of a 8/22/16 1:32pm ET recheck, all three options sold out, and Amazon actual is not currently one of the available sellers (sometimes happens during doorbuster sales when they run out).
[DEAD] Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Over-Ears (Ivory Android only) for $150
As of a 8/22/16 1:35pm ET recheck, the price of this increased to $250+ from Amazon actual, so it did not get pulled from the listings like the on-ears…
Sennheiser HD650 for $300 with coupon (or $285 after MIR)
If you are interested in the open-back over-ear Sennheiser HD650, coupon code 1LENSSAVIN (no G at the end) drops the price down to $300 at Adorama.com (authorized dealer)… If you don’t object to doing a mail-in rebate, there’s also a $15 mail-in rebate offer on it that drops it to $285 after MIR. You have to cup the original UPC code and serial number from the box, make photocopies and snail-mail the rebate form.
PS: the rebate offer ends 8/22/16, the coupon works until it stops working.
PS2: if you want to test whether the coupon is working, you can go to the Checkout page and skip everything to the Payment section. Look for the option there to enter a coupon and enter it in the coupon box (not the gift card box). You don’t have to enter your address and billing info if you just want to test whether the coupon is working.
Sennheiser HD600 for $250 after coupon (or $235 after MIR)
It’s not just the HD 650, coupon code 1LENSSAVIN (no G at the end) gets you the new condition open-back over-ear Sennheiser HD600 headphones for $250 from authorized dealer Adorama.com…
Optionally you can submit a $15 mail-in rebate and drop it to $235 after MIR. This is a mail-in rebate, so you have to cut off the barcode and serial number and make photocopies and snail-mail things and wait for the rebate to arrive a few weeks later. The rebate offer ends 8/22/16. The coupon is independent of the rebate.
Alternately, if you are a regular Amazon shopper, you can get the same effective price by buying the HD600 with $150 Amazon Gift Card bundled together for $400. On very rare occasions, the gift card may arrive before the headphones ship, and you may be able to apply it towards this purchase (unless they changed how the shopping cart deals with gift card bundles).
Sennheiser RS 120 Wireless (RF) for $60
If you are looking for RF wireless headphones (not bluetooth), the new condition Sennheiser RS120 with a 2-year warranty is on sale for $60 with free shipping and free returns at Groupon Goods. The free returns are handy because there are a couple of potential issues with this, the way the AC input connects to Base is wonky and the audio times-out quickly when there’s silence. The Base has to be connected to AC, while the headphones need two AAA batteries (either the included set or your own). The headphones only work with the Base, you can’t use them as a normal 3.5mm input headphone.
Sennheiser HD7 DJ headphones with Pioneer DDJ-SB2 2 Channel Controller for Serato DJ for $300
It’s bundle time, this offer is running until 8/22/16 and does not need a coupon or rebate. It is the Sennheiser HD7 DJ headphones bundled with the Pioneer DDJ-SB2 2-Channel Controller for Serato DJ, all together for $300 with free shipping at authorized dealer Adorama.com.
Sennheiser CX 3.00 In-Ears for $40 [three colors; limit 5]
In-ear action now, these are more of the shallow insertion kind, or as I like to call them, “earbud-y in-ears”, all three color options of Sennheiser CX 3.00 are on sale for $40 each, with a limit of five per color per customer at Amazon by Amazon actual where they average 4.2 out of 5 based on exactly 200 customer reviews.
Sonix 16th Anniversary Sale (11 options)
Sonix Electronix has launched a limited time anniversary sale, using the coupon codes shown next to each headphone on the promotion page. As usual, price check each headphone of interest if you are not familiar with its usual price range. Of note, they have the Sennheiser Momentum 2 Bluetooth On-Ears going for $218, the NuForce HEM8 in-ears for $424, and a few others.
Sennheiser HD800 S with $100 Store Credit for $1662
The Sennheiser HD800 S currently goes for $1662.04 at Amazon by Amazon actual (make sure Amazon is the actual seller, not a marketplace seller which sells it for $1 less).
This headphone is part of a promotion that gets you a $100 Amazon Store Credit if you make a $1000+ premium audio purchase from a list of 250+ items. The first link here points to the Amazon’s own listing. The listing in the promotional page points to the default product page which currently features the marketplace seller. Make sure the seller is Amazon actual, otherwise you won’t get the $100 promotional credit (or Sennheiser warranty).
If you qualify for the credit, you will see this box appear magically in the Amazon Checkout page:
You will receive the $100 credit after this order ships, so you have to use it in the future, not against this order. For more on this promotion, check our previous write-up.
Time-wise, this looks like it may be a computerized price-match of the $1661 marketplace seller, so the price may return to $1699 either after some random period of time or when the lower priced listing ends. I have no way of knowing this. The $100 promotional credit is good regardless of $1662 or $1699 as long as Amazon actual is the actual seller.
Sennheiser RS120 RF Wireless for $56
The Sennheiser RS120 RF-wireless headphones with transmitter/charging dock are currently going for $56 with free shipping by Focus Camera on eBay with a limit of five units per customer… Coming close, a couple of sellers have it for $60 at amazon.com…
The headphones themselves are powered by two AAA batteries and you can use your own, you don’t have to use the included ones. It’s more efficient to charge batteries on your own than use the charging dock, because if you have two or more pairs, you can keep at least one fully charged as a backup. If they run out of juicy mid-movie, you just replace the batteries.
Sennheiser CX 300-II earphones for $30 w/free S&H
The deal of the day at the B&H Photo online store are the Sennheiser CX 300-II earphones going for $30 with free shipping. The offer ends by 11:59pm ET on Sunday or before then if it happens to sell out.
PSA: Beware of Strange Things on the Sennheiser HD800 Listing
UPDATE 5:08pm ET: one of the two is back… this is now resolved, both of those iffy listings have been removed by Amazon…
Beware of strange things happening on the Sennheiser HD800 listing at Amazon Warehouse Deals. One “Just Launched” seller offers this for a lower price. This seller has 2400+ listings of electronics but has curious messages on the listings, to contact them before placing an order and that the items are brand new but Amazon “won’t let them” list the items as new… The other strangeness is a listing for $88, which is either a typo or a data harvesting attempt… So don’t fall for either one of these unless you are 100% certain they are legit…
Sennheiser HD700 drops to $454 [or Used for $341]
The King Stannis of the Sennheiser audiophile line-up is on sale again, squeezed between the larger than life Robert and extrovert Renly, the HD700 is having trouble standing out, which keeps pushing its price down, currently going for $454 with free shipping, in new condition, with a limit of five per customer at Amazon by Amazon actual.
As of the time of writing, there’s one “Used – Good” condition listing (cosmetic imperfection, damaged packaging) going for $341 at Amazon Warehouse Deals.
Still good: Sennheiser HD600 and $150 Gift Card for $400
If you are a regular Amazon shopper (or have no problem spending $150+ there in the future), the new condition Sennheiser HD600 bundled with a $150 Amazon plastic gift card continues to be offered for $400 at Amazon by Amazon. Given the face value of the gift card, it’s like getting the headphones for $250.
The gift card comes with a winter greeting card, but you can put the gift card in a different card/box, or if you are giving the gift card to a Game Of Thrones fan, write Winter Is Coming on the card 🙂
Sennheiser HD600 with iFi Nano-iDSD DAC for $400
This bundle is reanimated again, it is the new condition Sennheiser HD600 with the iFi Nano-iDSD DAC, together bundled for $400 with free shipping at Adorama.com as a limited time promotion.

The above is what you see on a desktop browser, the design of the page may be different if reading at a laptop or tablet or phone or have a smaller window/viewport or use a different browser, etc, etc, etc.
This is not a lightning deal, so I don’t know how long it will last. It may be a sale or it may be a price match or a combination.
If you prefer any of the other options, used/refurbished may be the way to go, prices start at $145~ depending on option (color and OS). This link shows the lowest price of each option. To see more detailed listings, click on the “See all offers for this product” next to the options of interest.
Sennheiser CX215 earphone for $27 w/free S&H
We take a break from the Warehouse Deals Used adventures with a flash sale on a new condition earphone, it is the blue color scheme of the Sennheiser CX 215 going for $27 with free shipping at Adorama.com. This is a limited time sale, but I do not know the expiration date.
Sennheiser HD7 DJ headphones with $15 promo for $115
This is an unusual combo offer. For $115 with free shipping you get the Sennheiser HD7 DJ closed-back over-ear headphones from Adorama thru NewEgg, along with a $15 promotional gift card from NewEgg. So the headphones ship from Adorama, and the $15 promotional gift card will get emailed by NewEgg.
PS: if you are not familiar with the terms, here’s the NewEgg Help page explaining the differences between a regular gift card (first part), and a promotional gift card (second part).

This daily deal expired, but the Sennheiser HD-5xx series is regularly featured in various daily deals across the inter-shopping-webs…
Sennheiser HD650 Studio Bundle returns to $500

If you don’t need either the Yeti or the M-Audio, then it’s a deal killer.

Sennheiser HD650 and $200 Gift Card for $500
Upping the ante since the last time we mentioned this about a month ago, Adorama now offers a $200 Adorama gift certificate (instead of a $150) when you purchase their Sennheiser HD650 bundle for $500. So assuming you can use the gift card, it’s like getting the headphones for $300. They are new condition and authorized dealer.
Sennheiser Momentum In-Ears for $70~
The in-ear version of the Sennheiser Momentums is on sale as well, each option has a limit of five per customer. The black/red iOS version goes for $69, while the black/chrome goes for $71. Android fans get the black/chrome version for $71, but the black/red Android version is going for $80. All together they average 3.7 out of 5 based on 570 customer reviews and have 140+ questions peer-answered. This at Amazon by Amazon actual.
PS: the iOS/Android mention is the buttons of the remote control. The earphones are not running iOS/Android. We are getting to the point where we have to specify these since there are more and more “gadget” headphones 🙂
[DEAD] Open box Sennheiser HD800S for $1349
This particular listing at the price/condition mentioned sold out…
Sennheiser Urbanite On-Ears (iOS) for $79
The Sennheiser Urbanite Closed-Back On-Ears, with the iOS cables, in either the Black or the Denim color schemes are on sale for $79 with free shipping, with a limit of three units per customer at Amazon by Amazon actual. Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Over-Ears (Ivory) for $236 Apple or $259 Android
If you are interested in the second generation of the closed-back over-ear Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 headphones, and you like (or do not object) to the Ivory color-scheme, it is currently on sale for $236 in the Apple (iOS) version and $259 in the Galaxy (Android) version, with a limit of five each per customer at Amazon by Amazon actual.
When they say iOS/Android, they mean the cables. The headphones are the same, the type of cable determines what functions work with each OS type (eg Volume, Play, etc). You can buy cables separate or use cables from other devices. While iOS is certain to work with Apple’s own iOS devices, there’s still some YMMV on the Android front since many manufacturers are doing many things their own way 🙂
Used Sennheiser HD 700 for $366
The Sennheiser HD700 got squeezed by its own line-up, between the HD800/HD800S and the HD600/650, and its price is showing the effects of that squeeze. It currently goes for $500 in new condition at authorized dealers, but if you are comfortable with used, there are currently two listings of it in “Used – Very Good” condition (minor cosmetic imperfections, damaged original packaging) for $366~ with free shipping by Amazon Warehouse Deals actual.
