Phones as DAPs: LG V20 for $500 (Factory Unlocked, USA warranty)
If you want to get the LG V20 but don’t want to be hogtied to a cellular carrier and don’t want to risk buying used or seller-refurbished on eBay, there’s another option, you can get the 64GB LG V20 in new condition, in the titan color scheme, factory unlocked and with LG USA warranty for $500 at B&H Photo. It comes with a 30-day return policy as well.
This being factory unlocked and able to work on GSM and CDMA networks, it will likely fetch a price if/when you decide to sell it later on. Only a small percentage of smartphones out there are “all-carrier phones”.
Of headphone/music interest of course is the Quad DAC, 64GB on-board storage, microSD slot, 4GB RAM so you can run various music apps, nice screen for music videos (eg YouTube Music app), removable battery, Android 7, etc.
Kate Spade New York Wireless Headphones for $75
Here’s something that Barnes and Noble has, but Amazon doesn’t! It’s not a Nook. It’s a fashion headphone! The Kate Spade New York Wireless Headphones (bluetooth on-ears) are currently half off, going for $75 with free shipping or free store pickup (where available/possible). They have a built-in rechargeable battery which powers the bluetooth. They come with a travel case.
PS: I can’t tell from the picture whether they can play 3.5mm audio. Assume they don’t unless you find out for certain. I do not know if they have these for demo at B&N brick and mortar stores.
KZ ATR for $10 (Prime eligible)
If you are curious about the KZ budget Chi-fi earphones but don’t want to deal with GearBest shopping (and slow shipping), a number of these models are now available from a variety of sellers at Amazon that are Prime eligible (look for the Prime checkmark in the listings).
In addition to the previously mentioned ATE and ZST and ZS3, the KZ ATR earphones are also there, going for $10 without mic, and $11 with mic. You can get them for less from Asian sellers, but none of them offer free 2-day shipping (if you are a Prime member).

You don’t have to login or sign-up to test the coupon. Just enter it on the right hand side of the checkout page (it’s small print, so look for it!).
