Given the price it is not a surprise you only get a 1/4″ adapter in the box, but you also get a 2-year warranty!

These are a value play headphone with a loooooong non-detachable cable. It also sells under the Superlux brand and there are probably other variations as well. They are open enough that in a quiet room you can use them as temporary computer speakers if you hang them near ear-level and increase the volume level. The only accessory included is a 1/4″ to 1/8″ adapter.

It’s nice to be tethered to a desktop computer while working but still have a few feet to move around without being worried of yanking the headphones off your head or off the headphone jack 🙂 The cable is non-detachable. There’s no mic/remote. The earpads are not the most comfy, but you can replace them, or make you own … out of socks. That’s one way to scare away other people from using your headphones 🙂

Their most famous cousins, the SR850, are the semi-open. The SR950 are closed, which goes counter to Beyerdynamic’s DT 7-8-9 openness progression 🙂
