This 4-hour lightning deal expired…
UPDATE: the sale price is $239 and it ends at 4pm eastern. It was not greeted as a “liberator deal”, only 1% are claimed as of 3:38pm eastern time…
From the planning ahead department, starting at 12pm Eastern (9am pacific / Amazon time), on Tuesday 2/23/16 there is going to be a lightning deal on the Plantronics BackBeat PRO+ Wireless Noise Canceling headphones. These are bluetooth 4.0 with the practical NFC (if you have a multiple device situation), and active noise cancelling. They have detachable cables, and they also include a Bluetooth USB adapter (handy for devices without native Bluetooth support).
As of the time of writing of this post, Amazon’s own price is $283. I don’t know whether the “$50 off” will be on this price or the list price ($300). Here’s a screenshot from the Gold Box teasers:
