These lightning deals expired…
The open-back over-ear Sennheiser HD650 is scheduled to be a lightning deal at the Amazon Gold box starting at 1:24pm Eastern on Saturday 3/4/17 according to the tentative schedule posted on their website. The price before the sale is $375. The sale price will be revealed over there when it goes live. Here’s a screenshot from the Gold Box (the time in the screenshot is pacific):
We can’t tell ahead of time who is going to be the lightning deal seller, but if it is going to be Amazon actual, you may be able to take advantage of the $25 off AMEX Shop with Membership Rewards points promotion to drop another $25 off the lightning deal price.
In addition to the classic decision between the HD600 and the HD650, there’s also the newer limited-availability $200 HD6XX that was available through Massdrop. And while the HD600 is readily available, the HD6XX is at the mercy of future Massdrop promotions. The eBay prices of the HD6XX are on the crazy side (high demand, low availability).
