The third generation MEE audio Matrix 3 bluetooth headphones are now out, going for $120 in new condition and $84~ in used condition. They support Bluetooth 4.0 with apt-X and AAC, and also play music via 3.5mm input.
But if you want to go bluetooth by saving more, the second generation goes for $68 in new condition by Amazon actual (limit 3 per customer).
Or you can save even more thru Warehouse Deals where the Matrix 2 goes for $39~ in “Used – Acceptable” or $44~ in “Used – Very Good” condition or $47~ in “Used – Like New”. The previous link is the default summary listing. This is the detailed Used only listings.
The Matrix 2 supports the same formats but also supports NFC. I haven’t found anything in the listings of the Matrix 3 mentioning NFC. NFC can be handy if you want to pair/connect by touch. It can be handy if you have an air war between music sources and headsets fighting to make active bluetooth connections. Both come with zippered cases.
