[DEAD] Wedn: Sony MDR-1A Closed Over-Ears (Imported) for $150

One of the Wednesday daily deals at NewEgg is also a headphone, they are developing a bit of a streak, it is the new condition Sony MDR-1A closed over-ears offered for $150 with free shipping, sold by a marketplace seller (“American Telecom Headquarters”) through NewEgg. As such, this is almost certainly an imported model, so you won’t be getting a Sony USA warranty.

Note also that the second generation Sony MDR-1AM2 is now in-stock and shipping for $300, so if you are going to get the first generation might as well get it refurbished or used or imported and not pay anywhere where near second generation money. Granted, these are not smartphones or computers, they are wired headphones so their shelf life is much longer 🙂
