Unlike the Sandisk models, Sony’s double figure mp3 players do not have a microSD slot (even if they did, it might have been the darned MemoryStick or MiniDisc [ha!]), so you have to be content with 8GB or 16GB on-board storage. Which is what you get in the Sony Walkmen that are on sale for Thursday at Best Buy as one of their daily deals.
The 8GB model (NW-E394) goes for $50, while the 16GB model (NW-395) goes for $70. Each one is available in either black or red. Free shipping or free store pickup (where available). The promotional page will likely be taken down after the offer expires (that’s what Best Buy seems to do when they assemble a custom page for a daily deal).
PS: yes, these are the “mouse ears” mp3-players. I have an older model of these (older as in mini-USB old) and it still works fine.
