If you like the unpredictability of grab bag offers, Massdrop is now running a VSonic IEM grab bag offer for $25 plus $2 flat shipping. You will randomly receive one earphone from a pool of seven. 40% of the purchases will be the VSD3, while 38% will be one of the VSD1S* models. About 1% each will be the GR07 Classic and the VSD5S. Each customer can buy two grab bags. A total of 700 units are available for this promotion.

They also have a trio of grand prizes if certain quantity preset limits are reached. The offer runs for the next seven days and your randomness bags will ship mid April 2017. Just in time to make tax day feel a little better and little less random 🙂

Vsonic GR02 Bass Edition In-Ears for $25 [MD]

Another offer is now unlocked at the members-only shopping-club Massdrop, it is the Vsonic GR02 Bass Edition going for $22 plus $3~ flat shipping. It comes with many colorful eartips (an easy way to tell left from right as I discovered with the Monk Plus) and a basic pouch and a 1-year warranty from Massdrop (not the manufacturer). Considering the price, worrying about the warranty is probably not a big deal. The shipping estimate mid-to-late October 2016, and the offer is running for the next 8 days (from blog-posting date).

If you don’t want to wait that long, and you are a Prime member, you can get them for $30 from “Lend Me UR Ears” with the orders fulfilled by Amazon. “Lend Me UR Ears” is in Singapore, but “fulfilled by Amazon” means they sent a box of items to an Amazon USA warehouse and they get shipped with all the other shipped-by-Amazon items.

VSonic VSD3S red or blue for $50 w/free USA shipping

UB40 sings of “red red wine” but if you prefer “red red in-ears”, the red Vsonic VSD3S with detachable cable are currently on sale for $50 with free shipping by Lend Me UR ears Singapore with the order shipping from Amazon.com (USA warehouses) and eligible for free 2-day Prime shipping. As of the time of writing, the page there says there are 12 units left in-stock. If red is not your color, the blue are also going for $50.

NOTE #1: when price-checking these, make sure to check whether they are detachable or not – there are various options.

NOTE #2: for other well-received Asian IEMs, check the Lend Me Your Ears fulfilled by Amazon storefront. These ship from an Amazon USA warehouse, not from Singapore. Lend Me sends them to Amazon USA warehouses and Amazonia handles the shipping/etc.

NOTE #3: similar to the list of eBay Stores created in the Sidebar of this blog, I will also add a list of Amazon storefronts. {coming soon, but feel free to remind/yell at me if it doesn’t arrive soon!}

VSonic VSD1S In-Ears for $38

The Vsonic VSD1S in-ears are currently offered for $38 by Singapore’s Lend Me Your Ears but the order is fulfilled by Amazon.com from a USA warehouse. In other words, Lend Me Your Ears send Amazon’s USA warehouses a big box of headphones, so when an Amazon customer buys it, they ship from USA warehouse and are eligible for free 2-day Prime shipping for members (or the usual free super-saver shipping for non-members). This is model VSD1S, not to be confused with the VSD1.
