Tribit truly wireless sale (including 100H for $32)

For a limited time, Amazon is having a sale on select Tribit truly-wireless, along with some over-ears and some speakers, all of the bluetooth kind. A total of 22 options as of the time of writing.

Of note is the Tribit 100H TW for $32. I have these and they indeed last a long time. I use them daily for YouTube and podcasts and such, and charge them just once per month!

You can also do the one earpiece trick, you don’t have to use both at the same time. That’s how I’m getting the once a month charge. Each earpiece runs for around 3 hours and change before it needs to get recharged in the comfort of the included charging case. Then you switch to the other earpiece, while the previous one recharges. You can on and on like this until the charging case battery is depleted!

Monday: Tribit truly-wireless sale

For Monday September 19 in 2022, the headliner deal of the day at Amazon USA is a Tribit truly wireless sale featuring a total of 14 products. Not all of them are truly wireless earphones though.

Of particular interest is the Tribit Fly Buds 3 (100H) going for around $31 in the black color scheme.

I have this particular model and I’m planning an unboxing post and review in the future. Of potential playback time interest, in addition to the long charge held in the charging case (thus the 100H in the name), you can optionally wear one earbud at a time instead of two (either the left or the right, whichever one you take out of the case), essentially doubling playback time! I use these for YouTube viewing daily and charge the USB-C charging case just once a month! That’s insane!

The charging case also works as a powerbank (!!!) for other devices via USB Type A! Don’t get too excited though, today’s phones need a whole lot more than this for a full charge. But in case of emergency,and/or if you want to charge small DAPs (eg Sandisk Clips) this is a great.

A bit confusing, but in the same listing they have a newer 2022 model, in the white color scheme going for $33. This is marked as a “150H” product, promising even crazier battery life. This goes by the “normal” name of “Flybuds 3S”. This also goes to bluetooth 5.2, up from bluetooth 5.0 of the OG Flybuds 3. I don’t have the 3S model, so I can’t comment on how it works.

All the models are on the same listing, and all together, at Amazon they average 4.3 out of 5 based on 22652 customer ratings. Unfortunately Amazon does not provide review score averages per individual color/option. You can filter the reviews by color/option but you have to calculate the averages on your own. With thousands of reviews, that’s impossible 🙂

Tribit BTH92 FlyBuds 3 truly-wireless for $32

Speaking of truly-wireless, I just started using the Tribit BTH92 FlyBuds 3, a popular model with nearly 20K ratings and a 4.3 out of 5 as of the time of writing. An unboxing post is coming up, and then (hopefully) a review!

The reason I’m writing this now (instead of waiting when the unboxing post is ready) is because they have a limited time 20% off clip-on coupon at the Amazon website, dropping their price from $40 to $32! Both the black and the pink color schemes have the clip-on coupon.

If you are not familiar with Amazon’s clip-on coupons, you have to be logged-in to your Amazon account in order to save/link the coupon to your account. You don’t type a promo code, you just clip the tiny little checkbox near the coupon. You can use it at any time before it expires. The expiration dates vary and sometimes they can expire before the given date (eg if a product is going to be a gold-box/lightning deal, they cancel the coupon, otherwise the price drops too low for them to make any money LOL).

Anyway, back to the Tribits, they promise up to 100 hours of playback when using the included charging case (which also serves as a power bank for external devices {via USB-A}). They are bluetooth 5.0, with iPX8 and of utilitarian interest (eg listening to YouTube or podcasts), you can use each earbud separately, essentially doubling your playback time! The charging case is charged via USB-C thankfully (not micro-USB!)

Too early for me to speak about them review-wise, stay tuned for that in the next few days/weeks 🙂

Thursday: Tribit FlyBuds 3 (100 hour) truly-wireless for $29 [limit 5]

One brand that is scoring some points on the budget front is Tribit, and they are one of the Amazon USA Gold Box deals of the day good until Thursday 4/8/21 at 11:59pm pacific time…

Oh, what’s the sale? It’s not tribbles, it’s Tribit bluetooths. A total of 9 options are available including:

+ QuietPlus ANC over-ears for $56

+ two airpod-style truly wireless for $40 to $56

+ and the big star of the show/sale, the Tribit FlyBuds 3 with a charging case that promises 100 hours (!) of playback time. Plus it can be used as a small powerbank (more of interest to smaller DAPs and DACs, today’s smartphones are very hungry for 2600 mAh). The sale price is a very solid $29 with up to five per customers…

As of the time of writing these average 4.5 out of 5 based on 3100+ customer ratings. They are IPX8, bluetooth 5 with low latency, and three sizes of earfins (in addition to the six eartip options). They also promise pairing the moment you open the case, which if working so, simplifies truly-wireless life.

I am planning to buy the FlyBuds 3, so at some point in the future expect an unboxing and review post…

Tribit X-Free ANC/Bluetooth Over-Ears for $28

These well-reviewed ANC/bluetooth closed-back over-ear headphones will holding the line over $40 but as of the time of writing, the price has breached the $30 line [not that these are stock prices] and you can get the new condition black color scheme for $28 sold by “Tribit Direct” with the order fulfilled by Amazon. The red color scheme (more like some red in the coloring, it’s mostly black) goes for $30~. You can buy as many as you like.

This is not a lightning deal, so the price can change (or not change) at any time for any reason. They average 4.5 out of 5 based on over 1000 customer reviews and they have over 280 answered questions by almost anyone with internet access [and an Amazon account]…

If you have practical need for the bluetooth/ANC combo, these budget brands that are tearing up the top seller charts at Amazon (along with Cowin, Taotronics, MPow, etc) are a good way to avoid spending a lot of money on non-audiophile products but still solve a pesky real-world problem 😉

Tribit X-Free Tune Bluetooth Over-Ears for $38 AC

It’s not a big discount but it’s not a headphone that drops dramatically either. It’s one of the “Amazon hits”, the new condition Tribit X-Free Tune bluetooth over-ears are down to $40 but that’s not all, they also have a 5% off clip-on coupon, dropping them down to $38 with free shipping. This is for the black color scheme… The black/red color scheme goes for slightly more but it is not eligible for the clip-on coupon [if you don’t see the coupon on the product page and get invited to e-clip it, it means it’s not eligible]…

These average 4.5 out of 5 based on nearly 850 customer reviews and and they have over 230 answered questions by viewers like you… It promises up to 40 hours of playback time on a 4 hour charge. It has bluetooth 4.1, folds and plays music via 3.5mm as well.

PS: there’s no mention of NFC in the product description, so assume it doesn’t have it unless you know for certain [see: what’s the point of NFC in bluetooth headphones].

Tribit XFree Tune ANC/Bluetooth Over-Ears for $47.50 AC

One of the headphones that has been trending lately in the budget ANC + bluetooth over-ears category is the Tribit XFree Tune which has a steady price of $50 but for a limited time, Amazon has a 5% off clip-on coupon, dropping it to $47.50. Not a big discount but if you were going to buy it anyway, that extra $2.50 can get you an extra budget cable or adapter or a FLAC song 🙂 The coupon is on the black color scheme of the headphone which averages 4.6 out of 5 based on nearly 750 customer reviews and it has over 200 peer-answered questions.

The headphones promise up to 40 hours listening time on a 580 mAh battery that charges in four hours (so an overnight or during office hours change). But they also have a 3.5mm input. A case that fits the headphones when folded is included [see customer pictures #5 and #6 for the case closed and open] and it comes with an 18-month warranty and 30-day money-back guarantee. Customer picture #15 shows what’s included in the package…

Tribit Xfree bluetooth closed over-ears for 46 euro (EU) or $48 (USA)

The EU doesn’t have as many options in the budget bluetooth closed over-ears segment as the US, but one of the models that is finding itself in some recommendation lists is the Tribit Xfree bluetooth closed over-ears and it is currently going for just under 46 euro, with the order fulfilled by Amazon Germany… At Amazon USA, this goes for $48, thanks to a 5% off clip-on coupon ~
fulfilled by Amazon USA

In Germany, they average 4.6 out of 5 based on 159 customer reviews, while at USA they average 4.6 out of 5 as well but with 650+ customer reviews. They also have nearly 200 answered questions…
