I believe I used up my quota of Shure/Sure jokes for 2015, but this post is no joke! The open-back over-ear Shure SRH 1840 is available in “Used – Very Good” condition for $376~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals.

The Shure SE-215 are one of the in-ears you often seen in $100-ish recommendation lists and partly because of that, they are mostly “stuck” in price at $100 in new condition. But if you are comfortable with used, you can get them in “Used – Very Good” condition for around $80 by Amazon Warehouse Deals. There are multiple listings, so there is the possibility of price-pressure discounting them some more but this is only speculation since I don’t know how the prices are decided. Shure’s first attempt at consumer sub-$50 headphones have been around for a few months now that they are getting discounted in the used market, the closed-back on-ear with a mic/remote, the SRH 145m+ is available in “Used – Good” condition for $26~ and $28~ in “Used – Very Good” by Amazon Warehouse Deals.
