Monday: Feed Your DAPs: 200GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC for $24 [limit two]

Feed your DAPs and PADs with the Monday 6-24-2019 Gold Box Amazon deals of the day. Under the big “Laptops & Accessories” sale you will find the 200GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC going for $24.

Meanwhile the 128GB Sandisk Extreme microSD is bundled with a USB 3.0 Sandisk mobile card reader together for $30. The 256GB version of that goes for $54. On the other hand, if you like to carry your music on compact flash drives, their 256GB Sandisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 (microUSB and full size USB ports) goes for $33~. And if you want to backup or store your music on external HDDs, the 6TB Seagate Backup Plus goes for $100…

Limit two of each item per customer. Sale ends on Monday at 11:59pm pacific or earlier for anything that manages to sell-out and/or become un-orderable…

Feed your DAPs (EU edition): 200GB Sandisk micro SDXC for 26e

Amazon Germany is helping you feed your DAPs, PADs and other smartphones/tablets and devices that can take 200GB microSD cards because they are now offering, in new condition, the 200GB SAndisk Ultra micro-SDXC for 26 euro. There’s no purchase quantity limit. IT is not part of their gold-box, so there is no baked-in expiration time ~ in other words the price can go up or down or stay the same. Only Amazon’s AI Price-Bots can tell 🙂

PS: make sure your device(s) are practically-compatible with 200GB cards, not just spec-sheet compatible. Meaning look for other users on the web and in the forums who have been using them and have not experienced any problems or issues…

Wednesday: Feed your DAPs, Backup your FLACs!

Humans need to eat every day but the DAPs and PADs are not that hungry. But they must needs eat too, so if they need feeding, there’s a big Sandisk storage sale at the Amazon USA Gold Box daily deals running until Thursday FEB-28 in 2019 at 3am ET. The sale includes the 200GB Sandisk Ultra microSD card for $29.21 and the 400GB for $62.30. The 200GB is the bang for the buck of the two. But regardless, make sure your DAPs/PADs are compatible and perform as expected with them before buying them. This especially if you have older devices or devices without newer firmware updates.

On the FLAC (and other digital music) storage front, the sale also includes a vast variety of USB flash drives, conventional, tiny, and double-sided (connector wise that is). On top of that, there’s a sale on various Western Digital [which has purchased Sandisk a few months ago] external and gaming hard drives up to 10TB [that’s a lot of music].

And if you prefer SSD style storage, an external G-Technology USB flash drive that is advertised as more durable goes for $168.

You can buy up to two of each individual offering ~ or as many their shopping cart lets you buy 🙂

Feed your DAPs: 400GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC for $79

If your DAP or smartphone or other devices are compatible with 400GB devices [and by compatible I don’t mean just this written in the specs page, but also proven in the forums by actual users], at the moment Amazon is offering the new condition 400GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC card for $79 with free shipping. You can buy as many as you like. This is also marked an “A1” (of interest to PADs and phones/tablets) and Class 10 and UHS-I. A full size adapter is also included but by now you probably have a drawer full of them 🙂

Feed your DAPs (EU): 256GB Sandisk Ultra microSD for 45 euro [or 200GB for 36 euro]

We have an EU edition of “Feed your DAPs” at Amazon Germany offering the new condition 256GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC for 45 euro with free shipping to Germany. On the same listing, you can also see the 200GB version for 36 euro…

Sandisk Clip Jam (8GB) for $30

The lime-green and red-orange color-schemes of the new condition Sandisk Clip Jam mp3 player are on sale for $30 with Prime shipping at Amazon’s website. These are newer models, after the legendary “Clip+”. They come with a 2-year warranty and support mp3, AAC, WMA, WAV and Audible’s DRM for audiobooks.

In addition to the 8GB on-board, they also have a microSD slot for additional storage. I don’t have this newer model, but I am frequently rotating between my three “Clip+” models which also have on-board storage plus microSD. You can view the music separately or together in the player.

It looks like this model however, unlike the Clip+, it does not have the Rockbox option

200GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC for $65 [updated]

This sale ended: If your DAP or PAD supports 400GB microSD cards, the 400GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC card is on sale again, going for $180 with free shipping by Amazon actual. Especially of interest if you have FLAC and ALAC and WAV files and such…

If you don’t need that much on a single card, the 200GB version (A1) goes for $65 ~ this of course doesn’t help if your DAP/PAD has only one microSD slot (unless you don’t object to switching memory cards – not a very good idea for smartphones though unless you use them exclusively for music and media storage and you block other apps from using them)…

Feed the DAPs/PADs: 200GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC for $60

It’s time to feed those music-hungry DAPs (digital audio players) and PADs (phones as DAPs). The new condition 200GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC card is on sale for $60 with free shipping by Amazon actual. You can buy as many as you like. It is not a lightning deal.

PS: make sure your DAP/PAD is compatible with 200GB cards before buying. This of relevance for older models or DAPs who are often behind smartphones on the computer-y aspects of their components

Feed Your DAPs: 400GB Sandisk microSDXC for $185

If your DAPs and PADs are compatible with 400GB microSDXC cards, the Sandisk Ultra UHS-I with full size adapter is currently on sale for $185 with free shipping by Amazon actual (ships within 1-3 weeks) and for $185 with free shipping at B&H Photo (ships tomorrow)…

Feed Your PADs: 64GB Sandisk microSDXC (A1) for $20

If you load your PADs (Phones as DAPs) with music and equalizer and other apps, you may be interested in the new Sandisk “A1” memory cards that are designed for “faster app performance”. Currently the 64GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC of the A1 kind is on sale for $20 by Amazon actual. There’s no realistic purchase quantity limit (up to 30). Primes get free 2-day shipping, otherwise you need a $25+ order. There is no ticking clock on this sale.

Feed the DAPs: 200GB Sandisk microSDXC for $63

If your DAP or PAD (phone as DAP) is compatible with 200GB microSDXC memory cards, the 200GB Sandisk microSDXC Ultra card is on sale for $63 with free shipping by Amazon actual. This is an old school sale, not a lightning deal, so expiration time is not fixed.

[DEAD] Feed your DAPs (until Wedn 2:45am ET): 256GB Sandisk Ultra for $106, 400GB for $200

8GB Sandisk Clip Jam for $25, Clip Sport for $30

Move over fancy DAPs! We are ready to kick out the jams now 😉 The new condition 8GB Sandisk Clip Sport is on sale, new condition, in many pastel-y colors, for $25 by Amazon actual. Limit up to three per color per customer.

If you are feeling more sporty, the 8GB Clip Sport is on sale for $30 with free shipping for all with the same limit of three per color per customer.

Also on sale is the Clip Sport Plus for $52 in new condition. All these sold by Amazon actual.

I am not familiar with the newer line-up of the Clips, but I have the older (classic) Clip and Clip Plus. They are all still working, and of all the clips of my three Clip+ models broke off cleanly (maybe because I never used the clips and they atrophied?) making them even smaller DAPs 🙂

Thursday: Feed Your DAPs: 200GB Sandisk microSDXC for $50, 64GB for $14, and more

Don’t forget to feed your pets, but also feed your DAPs! They need more music files to digest! Good until Friday 3am eastern (or earlier for any individual items that may happen to sell out) is a Sandisk Daily Deal happening inside the very busy Gold Box at Amazonia.

You can buy anywhere from three to ten units of the same card, depending mayhaps on how many are available or any other factors the Amazon AI Bots use to determine these things.

The best bang for the buck is definitely the 64GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC for $14, that’s 4.57GB per dollar 🙂

Next up is the 128GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC for $28.49, which is 4.49 per dollar!

But in terms of storage flexibility, it’s of course the 200GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC going for $50 with a flat 4GB per dollar.

It is not a surprise that the highest capacity is also the highest price, the 256GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC goes for $90 which is 2.84GB per dollar. The 400GB for $250 is 1.6GB per dollar.

You can also get the 32GB for $9.49 which is $3.37 per GB, defeated even by the 200GB card.

NOTE: if you are not certain how your current DAP or PAD (phone as a DAP) will work with these, make sure you check the manual/support pages, or google or check the forums. Especially if you are buying a high capacity card.

It averages 3.6 out of 5 based on 1660+ customer reviews, and has over 550 questions answered by other shoppers over there. I haven’t used this one, so I can’t opine. My most “recent” Sandisk Clip is the good old “Clip Plus”. Speaking of which, of the three I had through the years, all three had their clip on the back break cleanly (even though I never used the clip – perhaps it atrophied), making them even lighter and thinner DAPs 🙂

[DEAD] SanDisk Clip Sport 8GB MP3 Player for $36
