More of Monoprice’s stereo Tube amps are now in-stock and ready to ship, some of which are bundled with speakers or headphones. The bundle with their new planar headphones is not available for purchase yet, as neither one of their new planar headphones are in-stock (see bottom of this post for more on them). PS: the latest estimates on the Monoprice planar-magnetic headphones are November 21 (2016) for the $200 M560 and February 9 (2017) for the $300 M1060. Neither one can be ordered/pre-ordered as of the time of writing.

Monoprice 8320 In-Ears for $3 each [or $5 shipped for 1 unit]

From the “How Low Can You Go” department, the Monoprice 8320 In-Ears are on sale for $3 per pair, in new condition, with a limit of 20 units per customer. However, shipping is not free, so you have to factor that in the price. They are lightweight, so if you buy up to three units, you pay $2 flat USPS First Class Mail shipping fee.

The dream of the 90s is alive at Monoprice! Good until either 7/21/16 or 7/24/16 (I’ve seen conflicting ifo), coupon code PROJECT gets 25% off orders between $300 – $1000. Think of the possibilities, getting every headphone and cable sold by Monoprice for one giant never-ending review 🙂 Joking aside, this is a great opportunity if you had been planning a big multi-dimensional Monoprice purchase, a combination of cables and accessories and some bigger items.

For example, if you bought their Headphone Desktop Amp (Product ID 11567), the coupon would drop it to $74, while their Stereo Hybrid Tube Amp with Bluetooth (Product ID 13194) would drop to $105. The Monoprice 8323 Over-Ears Closed Backs have been going for $16 for a while, but they didn’t have free shipping. Now they do! You can get them in new condition for $16 with free shipping at the Monoprice website. These are the most famous Monoprice headphones and they average almost 88% with nearly 1500 reviews over there.

They have a detachable cable, so you can replace it with one with mic/remote if you prefer. The pads are replaceable and if you search the interwebs you’ll find a variety of mods and hacks with them. Considering the price, they are a good candidate to experiment on 🙂

Monoprice 8320 Enhanced Bass In-Ears for $3 + $2 flat S&H (for up to three units)

This is a partial doorbuster since it doesn’t come with free shipping, but depending on your needs, this may be a great deal, it is the Monoprice 8320 in-ears (Enhanced Bass, silver model, best worn over the ear) for $3 per pair, with a limit of 20 units per customer. If you’ve never seen them before, the main picture there, the one on the left side, that’s the outer shell, they are not flat earbuds. What goes into your ears is how it looks on the right side.

They are kinda goofy but you can’t beat the price of $3 🙂 They average 79% with over 800 reviews over there, while at amazon.com they average 3.7 out of 5 with 1600+ customer reviews.

Shipping depends on how many you buy. Because they are small and ship light, if you buy up to three units, you pay $2 flat shipping (USPS). If you buy four or five units, shipping increases to $3 flat also with USPS. More than six, and they go above the First Class Mail weight limit.

Monoprice 8323 Over-Ears for $16 w/free shipping

It’s hard to go wrong with this headphone at this price, it is the internet-legendary closed-back over-ear detachable-cable Monoprice 8323 headphone on sale for $16 with free shipping (no minimum purchase required) from the Monoprice website. You can buy as many as you like (within inventory limits of course, if a billionaire decides to buy 10 million of them, they probably don’t have enough available). The sale is good until 2/29/16 unless they sell out.

This is a great buy under $30 shipped, so when you can get it at half that price, this is definitely even better. It did get some hype, the recommendation echo chamber effect, but again, there’s only so much a reasonable person can expect for a $16 shipped pair of headphones. Despite the size, this is not as expansive for big big heads (some on-ears are more roomy), and when you wear it in public, you kinda look like one of those 50s low-budget sci-fi robotic creatures. But again, you are paying $16 not $160 for fashionable Beats 🙂

It also comes with one long and one short 3.5mm audio cable (no mic/remote but it is detachable, so you can use your own mic/remote cable). And a 1/4″ adapter. So $16 gets you a pair of headphones, two audio cables, and a 1/4″ adapter. And a quasi-sturdy cardboard box (the one they are packaged in).

Speaking of Monoprice, a few other audio-related products (earbuds and other on-ear/over-ears) are part of their Valentine’s Sale (ends 2/14/16).
