It comes with a 90-day MEH Woot warranty. This is model number V3R150N1X-TH3-H3D63H06, or Meh is just being silly about model numbers 🙂 MEH Woot points to a Mitchell and Johnson product as similar, but I’m not familiar with either…

CORRECTION: the original post had two mentions of Woot, but this deal is at Meh. All apologies for the confusion 🙂

These have wooden earcups and use “electret” driver but does not require a specialized electrostatic amplifier. The name of the company may remind of …shoes, but it’s a London-based hi-fi company 🙂

[DEAD] Used Mitchell and Johnson GL1 for $99

SHARKK Bravo Hybrid Electrostatic Over-Ears for $20 w/FS

Even the hybrid electronics get their doorbusters! The new condition SHARKK Bravo Headphones are back down to $20 with free shipping, sold and shipped by BREED thru Amazon and they are not Prime eligible. These were once a $300 crowd-funding darling riding the waves of the pre-release hype machine 🙂 At 20 times less, they may be of interest for curiosity and comparison purposes. Still, if you haven’t heard of them, read up on them before buying!

SHARKK Bravo hybrid electrostatics for $30 w/free S&H

These were on sale a few days ago for $20 but then jumped back to $50. As of the time of writing, the new condition SHARKK Bravo hybrid electrostatics are down again, now going for $30 with free shipping by Breed thru Amazon. These ship directly from BREED, and they are not Prime eligible.

These were a hyped crowd-funding project at the “magical” headphone price of $300, but they disappointment, and their price has been dropping. So this is more of a curiosity/comparison buy, not an attempt at a “silver bullet” headphone 🙂
