The Philips X2 open-back over-ears generated a lot of excitement but they got phased out and are getting replaced with the new X2HR, which is now available for pre-ordering for $280 at Amazon by Amazon actual. The shipping estimate is a nebulous and floating “temporarily out of stock”.
An unknown marketplace seller shows it in-stock but unless you are intimately familiar with that particular seller, you may want to avoid them and spare yourself from potential issues and frustration and such, and wait until a recognizable and reputable dealer has them.
