If you are fond of active noise cancelling and want to be among the first to check out new headphones, the Philips NC1/27 with active noise cancellation is now in-stock and ready to ship to your front door for $300 at Amazon.com by Amazon actual. It promises up to 30 hours of ANC play but it can still play non-ANC music when it runs out of power. It has 40mm drivers, folds, and comes with travel case.
This is part of the new Philips line-up that includes the much talked about X2, but also the M1 Mark II (closed on-ear) and the F1 (closed on-ear) and the Apple-centric M2L (L = Lightning input with built-in DAC/amp). They are mobile-friendly, with 16 ohm impedance, with the exception of the X2 which still has a mobile-friendly 30 ohm.
