Warm up the amps, it looks like Amazon’s price computer is price-matching the offers of marketplace sellers for some of the Beyerdynamic headphones. As of the time of writing, the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO (250 ohm) is on sale for $126 by Amazon actual. Marketplace sellers have it for a few pennies less but they don’t look to be authorized dealers.

TIP: an easy way to remember their closed/open status is that the bigger the number gets, the more open they are. The 770 are closed, the 880 are semi, and the 990 are open.
