If you are looking for a budget closed-back on-ear headphone, as of the time of writing there are three listings of open-box Noontec Zoro On-Ears. The price is $15 with free shipping. At their time, before the improved Beats Solo 2 came out, these Beats clones were considered by many to be a more decent Beats-style sound than the actual Beats. These are folding headphones. Plenty has been written about them if you are willing to dig into the search engines and the audio forums.
It’s unlocking season at Massdrop! Another offer has now unlocked, with three days and change left in the offer (from blog-posting time), it’s more of a “deep cut” though for fans of the brand, it is the new condition Kennerton Vali Exclusive Massdrop Edition going for $700 plus shipping at the members-only but free to join Massdrop shopping service/site.
Only 30 units are available for this drop. Six of them have been purchased as of the time of writing. This will ship in mid-March from Massdrop, with all sales final. There is no mention of warranty in the listing. These are handmade in Russia, and they are open-back wood headphones. I haven’t seen them in person but they look very nice in the pictures. Speaking of KOSS, running for the next two days and change (from blog-posting time), you can get the new condition Koss KPH30i Rhythm Beige Lightweight On-Ears for $20 plus shipping.
