I’m continuing to “digest” the findings from yesterday’s Amazon immersion, we have another budget bluetooth on-ear headphone, this one has the rather unusual feature of getting recharged through the 3.5mm audio port (instead of a USB port). This may sound crazy, but I actually had this very model and can testify I recharged it multiple times 🙂 [see picture #4 below] It comes with a 3.5mm to USB cable for charging.
It is the new condition Tenqa REMXD Bluetooth On-Ears going for $15, sold by the market, with the order fulfilled by Amazon, so you get free 2-day shipping if a Prime member. It averages 3.7 out of 5 based on 399 customer reviews. This uses an older version of Bluetooth, and if my memory serves me well, it sounds very “Bluetooth-y” for music playback, so it’s best suited for spoken work and videos (more talking heads and YouTube as opposed to movies or TV shows with great soundtracks).
If you are looking for volume in earphones, the new condition AmazonBasics In-Ears in the black color scheme with mic/remote are on sale for $3.45 at Amazon by Amazon actual with a limit of 27 per color per customer. The other colors go for $4+. Ironically the models without mic/remote, are currently more expensive.
All together they average 3.7 out of 5 based on 800+ customer reviews and have 40+ questions answered. As you see from the pictures, these are angled earphones, which may be an issue for some people ~ or a plus for others.
Back on sale again, the new condition Sennheiser IE80 in-ears are going for the very specific price of $204.77 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon actual where they average 4.2 out of 5 based on 300+ customer reviews, and have 70+ questions peer-answered by the internet-people 🙂

The Shure SE-535 currently go for $500 at authorized dealers, but if you want to save some and don’t want to wait for future sales/discounts, the Shure SE535-CL goes for $365 in “Used – Very Good” condition at Amazon Warehouse Deals, while the Shure SE535-V in similar condition goes for $378~.

On the utilitarian front, the closed-back on-ear TDK Life on Record WR680 Bluetooth headphones are available in “Used – Good” condition (cosmetic imperfections, damaged original packaging) for the very specific price of $7.76 by Amazon Warehouse Deals actual. They plan music from bluetooth or via a standard 3.5mm input. Not bad for this price 🙂
