FREE Full-Text RSS Feeds now available for both sites through Feedburner

If you like to keep up with all our latest posts using RSS or any other services that use RSS as their source/base, we now have Feedburner feeds for both this website (the deals) and the main website (the content). The benefit of using Feedburner for the feeds is that is is separately hosted by Feedburner, so even if the website goes down for technical difficulties or maintenance, the RSS feed will stay up because it’s hosted/cached by Feedburner.

This is the FREE Full-Text RSS Feed for this site, that has all the headphone deals.

And this is the FREE Full-Text RSS Feed for the main website which has reviews, unboxings, opinions, Headaphoolia Weekly round-ups and many more to come.

There are many and more RSS feed readers available on all platforms, using web browsers, browser plug-ins/extensions, Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, Windows Phone/Mobile/Metro, etc; even Firefox OS has an RSS reader 🙂 You can also add RSS feeds to other services like Flipboard. Most of these services/apps are free, but if you want more advanced features, there are some for pay services as well. Feedly is one of premium for pay services (but you can also use it for free without all the features/benefits), being the spiritual successor of good old Google Reader.

Both of our feeds are full-text, meaning the whole text of the blog-post is also in the RSS feed, not just the first sentence. We believe in giving you the choice of how to consume the content 🙂 The only things that don’t work as well in RSS feeds are Javascript and Embeds but RSS readers are getting better at dealing with those too.

SMSL M8A DAC for $180 [MD]

Another offer has reached the “fully unlocked” status at the members-only Massdrop shopping site. It is the new condition SMSL M8A DAC going for $180 with free shipping. The offer runs for the next seven days and it is expected to ship late May 2017. This too is an “All Sales Final” offer. I wish they put that higher up on the page, so people wouldn’t miss it when buying and then have frustrations with Massdrop. It would benefit both the seller and the buyers if this was make more prominent.

Used Beyerdynamic Amiron for $427 [or bundled with DAC/amps for more]

The Beyerdynamic Amiron are currently available in “Used – Good” condition (cosmetic imperfections, damaged original packaging) for $427~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals actual. There’s only one listing, so supplies may be limited.

The new condition price is $600 at authorized dealers, but some of them are bundling them with free extras. For example, Beach Camera bundles them with a Fiio USB DAC/amp and 3.5mm Fiio cable for $600 as well. However, the one reviewer and the one commenter on that listing say theirs were not brand new.

Or for $800, Beach Camera bundles it with the BeyerDynamic A20 head-amp.

Astell&Kern Beyerdynamic AK T1p Semi-Open Headphones for $599

Down goes Frazier! Last week this was on sale for $700, now the Astell and Kern variant of the Beyerdynamic T1p Semi-Open Headphones is down to $599 with free shipping by Adorama.com, an authorized dealer. This is a limited time offer, but no coupon, no rebate. The price will change when the sale ends.

Monoprice 13191 Portable On-Ears for $12

These look visually very similar to the AmazonBasics On-Ears ($15 regular price), but they are Monoprice branded and they are on sale for $12 per pair, it is the closed-back on-ear folding Monoprice 13191 On-Ears in the black color scheme. They don’t get free shipping, but if your Monoprice order includes an item that gets free shipping, then they get free shipping too.

I’ve also seen this design in other brands as well, considering the price, it is a tastefully bassy portable model. I’ve only listened to the AmazonBasics model though, the rest is speculation assuming they share the same internals ~ which is a reasonable assumption given the price, fine-tuning the sound signature of a $15 headphone is probably cost prohibitive for rebranding purposes ~ since they are all in a similar price range.

Speaking of Monoprice, coupon MAY20 gets you 20% off a $300+ order today, but all the headphones I tried with the coupon today don’t work. Previously most headphones worked with the coupon, with the exception of the M1060 and M560 which never worked with any coupon I tried.

Thinksound rain 9mm Wood In-Ears for $35 w/FS

This is fulfilled by Amazon, which reduces the risk a bit, it is the new condition thinksound rain 9mm Wood In-Ears going for $35 in the silver/cherry color scheme. Since they are exactly $35, non-Prime members get free shipping too (the usual SuperSaver slower shipping)
