IF your experimentation or fun projects could use a two-input two-output passive (not powered) device, there’s a closeout special on the POKKETMIXER device. You can get it for around $28 plus $6 shipping at Fab.com. You have to add it to the shopping cart and the price drops on the right side of the screen. No coupon needed, but this is a close-out special – no returns (a final sale). Free shipping with a $75+ order.

This has two audio-in inputs, and one audio-out on the back, and one headphone-out (for monitoring) on the front. It was designed for DJs but one could perhaps find uses for headphone experimentation as well.

Sennheiser HD 558 for $94 [Fry’s weekly promo-codes]

The open-back over-ear new-condition Sennheiser HD 558 headphones (the middle “child” of the current HD-5xx line-up) is going for $94 at Fry’s Electronics for the week of October 4 through the 10th in 2015. The offer is good at their stores and their website. This is part of their promo code offers, so you have to use your own unique coupon code that is found in the Fry’s email newsletters (free to subscribe).

PS: I don’t know if Amazon.com is going to price-match it.
