If you like free shipping and are looking for a basic earbud as a car or bag throwaround or emergency backup, the iFrogz plugz mobile earbuds in the white or blue color schemes are on sale for $5 with free shipping at Zagg.com. They average 3.5 out of 5 based on 25 customer reviews over there. PS: the green and pink are out of stock.

The Staples website has a limited time offer, good until 7/28/15, you can get two pairs of JLab Pro Metal Earbuds for $10 total. There are five different color schemes to pick from. They have a mic and remote with wheel volume control (judging by the picture there). You also get four eartip sizes. IF you are a Rewards member, you get free shipping. Otherwise you can get them shipped to your local Staples store for free. They are only available online, so there’s no store pickup option.

Needless to say, don’t throw away your CIEMs 😉 These are perhaps the type of things you keep in the car or the office or the backpack or hand them off to house guests so they won’t raid your collection 🙂

Yamaha EPH-M100 in-ears for $66

The Yamaha EPH-M100 in-ears are currently on sale for $66~ with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon actual with a limit of five per customer. The black color scheme is in-stock, the other two can still be ordered but will take a bit longer to ship. As you can see by the “Beatsy” styling, these have a more consumer sound, not to be confused with the similar model name and older Yamaha EPH-100.

For the shopping week of July 26 – Aug 1 in 2015, at Staples stores, they will have a 25% off sale on Sony headphones (clearance models excluded). Staples only carry the basic Sony models, so don’t expect to find the V6 or 7506 there. They typically carry the likes of the ZX-1xx and ZX-3xx and NCx series. No coupon needed. Availability will likely vary from store to store.
