Some of the color schemes of the latest Beats Solo 2 on-ear headphones (yes, the ones that generated a big debate among audiophile circles when they found their way to the *gasp* Inner Fidelity Hall of Fame) are on sale for $150 at Amazon and Best Buy.
The TCG TRD3 desktop DAC/amp is up on offer at Massdrop, with the lowest price possible being $160 shipped. As of the time of writing, it is not fully unlocked. Offer expires in about seven days from today (today = blog-posting date).
New York’s B&H Photo has a new sale on Senal Studio headphones. The more famous SMH-1000 with a free Senal storage pouch are offered for $70 with free shipping. If you need more, in multiples of three sets, page further down over there for a 3-pack for $180 (= $60 per set). The 3-pack also receives a free pouch per headphone. The freebies are included automatically, you don’t have to lift a finger 🙂
The less famous and lower priced SHM-500 are offered for $39 with free shipping. Or you can buy a 4-pack for $129 (= $32.50~ per headphone). No free pouches for the 500s.
On the colorful bluetooth basic earphones front, as part of the Staples website’s weekly deals (they call them daily deals, but they typically follow the weekly deal pattern), they are offering the BKHC bluetooth earphones for $24 per pair, in five different colors. Offer ends by 3/10/15 (unless they sell out).
These look very similar to the Urge Basics model which average 3.8 out of 5 with 45 customer reviews at amazon and go for $35. I haven’t seen either model, so my guess is only based on the webpages.
