The portable Sennheiser PX 90 on-ears are currently available in “Used – Good” condition for $36 with free shipping by Amazon Warehouse Deals. They average 4.2 out of 5 with 14 customer reviews, and are marked discontinued by manufacturer.
As of 3/3/15, the Fostex TH-500RP planar magnetics are now in-stock and shipping for $700 with free shipping at Amazon.com by market place sellers. They have one customer review so far over there, but it is from an audiophile.

If you like to compare or experiment on headphones, or need a case, the Targus TA-13NCHP active noise-cancelling headphones are available in “Used – Like New” condition for $6 (was $7.35) by Amazon Warehouse Deals. The description says “Item will come in original packaging. Packaging may be damaged”. They come with a Targus branded case, which I am assuming will be included based on the description? The ANC circuit promises “up to 80% of ambient noise”. As the two reviews point out, these DO NOT include a mic with volume control. It doesn’t say how the ANC circuit is powered (single use batteries or internal?).
