Monster Diesel Vektr with Control Talk for $70

On the fashionable headphones front (after all, these have Diesel in their product name!), the Monster Diesel VEKTR headphones with Control Talk are currently on sale for $70 per pair, with Apple Control Talk (the MFi 3-button remote/mic) and Control Talk (I’m not quite sure what the difference is between the two different product listings).

Sennheiser RS Kleer Wireless line-up on sale for $124 to $200

The Sennheiser RS-series line-up of Kleer wireless headphones is currently on sale at Amazon as a group. The entry-point into the Kleer line-up, the RS-160 goes for $124, the RS-170 goes for $170, and the RS-180 for $180. Review-wise, the RS-160 averages 4.1 (out of 400+), the RS-170 averages 4.3 (out of nearly 1000), and the RS-180 averages 4.2 (out of 700+ customer reviews). Each have their features and trade-offs, for example, the RS-180 is open-back, the RS-170 is closed-back, the RS-160 has a tiny hockey-puck transmitter, while the other two have big transmitters that also serve as headphone stands and chargers.

New arrival: Bowers & Wilkins P5 S2 for $300

At the $300 “magical” headphone price-point, we find the brand new Bowers & Wilkins P5 S2 headphones (series 2 aka 2nd generation), in-stock and ready to ship for $300, with a limit of five per shopping cart at Amazon.com by Amazon actual. In parallel, the first generation are discounted to $264 (limit 5), although at this point, it may make more sense to go for recertified (refurbished) for the first generation. The P-series has been making guest appearances at the Amazon Lightning Deals (new and recertified), so perhaps they’ll reappear during the holidays.

MEElectronics M9 in-ears for $10 (or M9p for $12)

On the budget front, the MeElectronics M9 in-ears (no mic/remote), in easy-to-open packaging (formerly known as frustration free packaging) are on sale for $10 per pair, with a limit of five per customer, at Amazon.com by Amazon actual.

On the other hand, if you want a mic/remote (one button), you can get the M9p for $12 per pair at Meritline (no coupon needed; ships from US warehouse). They come with various eartip sizes and a carrying case as well. When you page-down over there at Meritline you will find a giant handy chart that compares features of the various MEelectronics in-ear models.

Bose SoundTrue On-Ears drop to $150

The new Bose SoundTrue colorful on-ear headphones have dropped to $150 in their various colors at various authorized Bose dealers, including Amazon. These are wired headphones. The only exception from that list is the AE2w which is an over-ear bluetooth pair for $220.
